I looked around the site for this feature, which seems to be a no brainer, yet I can't find it.

Quite often, these deals go dead and you're bummed that you missed it..so, you want to set up an Alert so the next time you can act faster.

So, wouldn't it make sense to have "Add to Alerts" as an option in the "Thread Tools" tab so that when your on the page for the item offered, and it's Out of Stock/Dead Deal, you can instantly create an alert for it?

Presently, I have to copy the name of the item and then go to "Deal Alerts" in the Tools tab and paste it in and then fill in other fields.

Just curious if I'm missing something...that is, besides the deal that's now dead..lol

Not a bad idea. I like it  It would probably be a little difficult for them to code which word or phrase you want to add specifically, though. But even if it used the whole thread title and automatically put the whole title into the alert keyword area, you could always just edit that to suit your needs.

That would indeed be the most difficult part to implement, but that gives us something to think about. Thanks for suggestion.

Wow, I look forward to the day that I can add an Alert while still rummaging around the deal page...thanks for giving feedback.
