Hello,
I can't seem to figure out if I need an internal or external SD card reader for my laptop. I have a PCI and Express Carder reader slot available and a few USB ports that cannot take bulky USB card readers. I'm looking for something compact, lightweight, and that's durable. I guess if it can read and write at fast speeds that would be a plus. I'm thinking that I don't want to pay no more than $25. Any advice?
Oh yeah, I'll be using this reader to upload my Sandisk 8GB Extreme III 30mb/s or 20mb/s SD cards that I will eventually purchase.
Preferably, I want an internal card reader so I don't have to worry about cables or accidentally losing it. I checked out the Sandisk PCI card readers, but they seem to be ridiculously expensive. Are these obsolete now?
Thanks in advance for your help and advice.
