Hi,
I need your expertise finding me a good deal :)
I own a Sony SR300 camcorder, which I just love. The main reason being, its functions very well as a camcorder and also takes excellent picture in camera mode (6MP). Has 40GB internal drive. I have been using it since 2yrs and the memory is not yet full :) I got it for about 800$.
Now I am looking for a similar one, either canon/Sony to buy as a gift for my aunt. I am willing to spend about 500-600$ (for similar spec), as 2 yrs back I spent 800$.
I have looked but the model numbers are not in serial order for the sony camcorders, which is making it difficult to pin down to a successor model. Also I don't see many with more MP for still pictures.
Can someone point me which would be a good option to buy ?
