I want a iphone 3GS and my upgrade eligibility is August 11 2009. I do not want to pay $200 for just 2 months. But i still cant wait. I wanted to know if there is a ATT Employee that can change my upgrade eligibility date?
Hope they can...
THANK YOU,

You can't be serious. Lol. At this point it's only a month and a half away and if you wait you might have MMS without hacks. I think you should just wait.

=P just wait 2 more months or sell yours on craigslist or ebay before the price drops.

ATT changed it for upgrades.. if you previously had an iphone you can upgrade if you bought 7/08-9/08 aka first three months of the iphone 3g and will get competitive upgrade pricing @ 199 for 16gb and 299 for 32gb

They changed that policy for some including you.

Ok, so I'm really confused. I bought mine 7/08 (first day actually for the 3G) and to do so, most people that were under contract had to extend it 2 years to get the new one. So how would ANY 3G owner (unless they paid full price) be ending their contract in 09? I just logged into my account and it says 3/10 even though, literally I bought it on launch day (first one in Tampa, I made the papers and news!)... I want the 3G S, but it says I'm not eligible online and I'd have to pay the full price, so for me it's not waiting a month or two, it's waiting much longer! What should I do???

1) Be patient.
2) Pay full price

The people spend more money monthly 99+ become eligible for a subsidized phone earlier than those who pay less monthly. It's not that they can go out of contract after a year, but they are eligible for a Subsidized price. Solution for you is to sell your iPhone on ebay, and then add a line, change your number, and then cancel your old account.
Calculation
ebay price iphone 3g 350/400
-add a line $199- 70CB
-etf 175
-add a line 26
save $19/69.

That's the odd part, I spend WELL over $99 for my line! I think I should call them. I should be eligible. Something must be messed up in their system. Actually I checked, for some ODD reason, they have one of my other lines (not over $99) eligible but not mine! I wonder how hard this will be to rectify?
