I am looking for the best RC Plane available. I want it to be the fastest, etc. This is for a father's day present. I will say right now that I know pretty much nothing about these planes.

I am looking for a deal on the best ones out there. I know they are expensive. I would like the plane to include the best remote, etc.

I need help ASAP!

Thanks!!

if he has never flown your wasting your money. you would be better off with a good remote and a decent plane to fly after practice with a cheap starter plane. you can start at towerhobbies.com or stop by a local place.

as a dad.. in this field i would rather pick my own stuff out

Just to kinda expand upon what stufine is saying... if Dad has never flown an RC plane, buying an expensive one is probably not a good idea for two reasons. First, he may not like the hobby. It takes patience and practice to be able to accurately control the things and he may not enjoy it as much as he thought he would. Relatedly, the second reason is because he will crash the plane. So it's better to have a cheaper plane than a very expensive plane until he gets the hang of it.

Thx for your help so far. This is actually for someone with a lot of experience flying RCs. I think he would like more of a Jet-type RC.

Thanks again!
