I know it's $9.99/month,but my son wants a certain phone-with QWERTY k-board. Either Google G1 or Smartphone, but i do not need a data plan that some places are pushing. is there any way to get a desired phone without certain data plan? thanks

check out Samsung T919 and with a two year plan, you can get it for $49.99. It is a $500 slick touch screen phone. If you get a new account with 2 year contract, it is free.

i only see $99.99 for this phone when you add-a-line, but they require you to purchase $24.99 Web plan/month. thanks anyway

what about the Samsung Gravity T459 Lime Gray it shows as free when you add a line - and has a slide out qwerty -
