Well ... size / color / no of blades ... without a little more to go on ... just for generic .. I like the Hampton Bay quick install (Home Depot's store brand). Not crazy about the store since several management shakeups ... but a solid fan / easy to put up and not too expensive .. lifetime warranty ... even rookie can install this in a prepped ceiling box in about 5 to 10 minutes. I have one of the bright brass 52" in my house now ... love that half with work is done ... most of it is preassembled right out of the box ... snap on the blades ... and go hang it. Runs about $70 at the store ... HD will ship free with $149 (used to sell them ... worked for hd for 8 years and was supervisor in lighting for about 5 years back in the day before Nardelli and co ruined it) ... still decent fan for the money and easy to put up.

Free advice ... make SURE that you use a box rated for ceiling fan (if a remodel job and replacing a light fixture, try this http://www.doityourself.com/invt/6742753) ... they should have that at any hardware store that sells the braced ceiling box for ceiling fans ... this will keep you from going into the attic.
