Looking for any external hard drive, doesnt matter the brand, or sata or ide, just as long as it is under 45 or 50 dollars. Size doesn't matter, just looking for the best deal. Mail in rebate, any kind of rebate doesn't really matter.

....haven't seen them anywhere near that low....they have a bunch on Amazon, the cheapest ones are around $60....of course that would be paying about $0.25/GB which is waaaay too high

For one that cheap you might have to buy an external enclosure and maybe use a spare (old) hard drive you have laying around. Here is one for $7 2.5" (http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=86685&t=1419825&highlight=enclosure)

what would be a realistic low price to go for on something like that... last time at fry's they had some for 65, i haven't really ever looked for one before and was looking for a price that would be a good deal, would it be 50? I don't need it for another couple of months ..
