I need help finding a good deal on an excellent computer case with open window/LED lights - though I prefer quality over price. Basically a mid tower is fine.

The ones I've been able to find so far are off of the newegg site:

I'm looking into a new computer when system 7 comes out in October. I'm willing to spend $700-$1000 on a new computer (not laptop) for the house. It is mostly for household use but I also love my games, so I want to put some cool equipment in it for the newest games. I'm just not sure if it is better and cheaper to build my own or just buy a prebuild one from newegg or bestbuy.

I'm not too worried about the rewarding aspect of building my own. I just wqant to get the most bang for my buck.

If you prefer quality don't get NZXT... Get an Antec, one of the best bang for your buck cases.

Ive never used that case but Antec and Cooler Masters are obvious choices. They have some insanely expensive cases but Antec did come out with a slightly cheaper gaming case and CM also has some sub 100 cases.

I have two CM690s which are fine , large mids with lots of great features but its also kind of quirky too like all cases Ive used tend to be. They always have some features that are a bit quirky.

This one is really popular but it hasnt been on sale recently 99 bucks

Theres the cheaper Antec $60

Actually this NXZT gets good reviews

CM 690 $79

Some points about the 690 -- its covered in wired mesh so dust and dirt can get stuck in it like all these type cases , Antec 900 is the same.

HDs sit in a proprietary cradle and go in sideways.
Power supply goes on the bottom. There are tons of mounts of 120mm fans.
Theres a cable management bracket system but Im not that crazy about it.
The HD led seems bizarrely weak, cant even see if its on or off.

I'm really biased but I would always build unless some maker had some proprietary feature that was incredible and the overall cost was competitive with building a system. Since Ive never seen such a system I doubt I would buy one.

Well if they had a cheap cable card HTPC system a lot of people would buy them because you cant get the cable card interface separately. However , the systems theyve offered have various limitations and problems supposedly and they keep pulling them off the market all the time.
