I am looking to sign up for new american express credit card that gives free round trip ticket (or enough miles/points to get free airline ticket) after first purchase. Credit card without any annual fee would be good.
Any help would be appreciated.

Do you plan to use a particular airline(s)? AmEx offers mostly Delta and JetBlue credit cards. Are these the airlines that you want to use?
From generic air-miles cards, AmEx offers the BlueSky card. But the best bonuses I have seen for it were a $50 statement credit or a 5000 -mile credit.
Would you consider applying for Visa or Master Card if they offer a good deal for air miles?
The reason why I am asking about this is that it would be much easier for you to find a good deal for air miles if you do not limit yourself to American Express.
