Verizon Cell Phone Plans

I'm going to have to switch from AT&T to Verizon for my cell plan. My AT&T plan isn't up until end of October. We need 9 lines. What is the best plan for this? And is there anything you can do/say that you don't have to pay the getting out of the contract early fee? I've been with AT&T for about 10 years. Hate to leave them, but some of the people in the business live in an area where there is no AT&T service.:(
