Comcast resellers?

I'm looking to get Comcast for my new apt. When I google Comcast a bunch of resellers pop up.

Any experience with these guys? According to a metafilter thread, these guys actually get you better deals than going directly w/ comcast and I would agree based on their offers.

Not really

if you check the reviews and reseller ratings for many of them, you will find that people have trouble getting the rebates back

Make sure you read all the reviews before going with a reseller

yea it seems that a lot of ppl had trouble with the resellers although a lot did get their rebates. all in all though, it seemed to take longer and peace of mind is valuable.

in my region, I was able to get 12 months of 12 mbps (the upgraded Performance level, which was originally 6 mbps...rumor has it this is to compete w/ FiOS) which has up to 24 mbps PowerBoost for the first 20 megs of D/L, 10 megs of U/L for $45 total and they threw in basic cable (apparently an $18 dollar value). Definitely not as good as some of the advertised reseller deals which came w/ $100 rebates but w/e. I have my own cable modem, thanks to SD/newegg :).
