I'm looking for a surge protector which supports both the 220-240V European outlets and the 110-120V US outlets. Originally, I had my eyes on this adapter:
http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-BZ103050vTVL-Surge-Protector-Charger/product-reviews/B0017HF3XO/ref=dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1

But after going through the reviews, it seems like it won't support the 220-220 volt outlets in Europe. Then I found this adapter:
http://www.amazon.com/Monster-MP-OTG400-BK-Outlets/product-reviews/B000F9YN2M/ref=dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1

Which has mixed reviews of whether it supports the outlets in Europe (http://www.amazon.com/review/R1NUSYJAZ1BM5E/ref=cm_cr_pr_viewpnt#R1NUSYJAZ1BM5E). The reviewer says it doesn't while comments for the review argue it does.

So does anyone at SD have suggestions on a surge protector? I tend to trust you guys more than these amazon reviewers.

Would a power strip be fine as well? I don't necessarily need surge protection, I just need more than one US type outlet and I would rather just buy one converter adapter.

Are there other outlet solutions for travelers in Europe?
