I've got J2 numbers for 248,267,608,619,732 and 763 area codes available for about three more weeks (they expire after 30 days of non-use). I like them because they deliver in tiff (although it needs to be renamed) and GSM format. Though it looks like they might be a bit stiff if you get too much usage out of it.

I don't need a trade, since I got the right area code (with a great number, even) after 8 tries (now watch me go and let it expire like I did my last one).

I use faxdigits.com which has no limitations on the number of faxes in the free version but doesn't store any of the faxes either. They too, give you a number from a different area code. It also sends you the fax as a pdf attachment not that stupid efax proprietary format. So why don't we start trading those numbers :D.

I believe the thread has sort of evolved to pretty much any service, but make sure to point out which service. However, as faxdigits is an extension of freedigits.com, I'm going to guess that most or all the free numbers are in the 641 (Iowa) area code...

I could be wrong, and if so, be sure and let us know.

Here is a little trick to search each page of this thread for the area code you want.
You need firefox. In firefox click tools > options > advanced > general tab and check "search for text when I start typing"

Just click on the page and type in the number you want. If the number is on the page, it will turn green and highlight that number. If it is not on that page, it will stay red and not highlight anything; move on to the next page.

You also might want to go into your user settings and set the max posts per page to 40 posts per page.
Click on UserCP > edit options > scroll down to "Thread Display Options" > "Number of Posts per Page" > click drop down menu and select "show 40 posts per page"
