Upgrade to iPhone 3gs?

hey everyone,

I have an iPhone 3g... got it in december in decent shape. Aesthetically probably 7 out of 10, and I have already had to replace the broken screen.

A friend of mine is due for an upgrade for att, and I asked her if shed let me have her upgrade if i gave her my iphone, so basically I would upgrade to a 3gs for 199... what do you guys think? My 3g has been dropping calls constantly, and been slowing down, I feel the need for the upgrade!

So do you think I should? Also is it possible to do? haha thanks

If you can wait a year, the new 4g will be coming out.

imo, I don't think it's worth the $200. Then again, I don't have a 3g or 3gs lol

If you're willing to take the time to learn how to jailbreak and unlock your current one, you can make it profit. I sold my used, unlocked 16GB iPhone 3G for $380 and then bought a 32GB 3G S for $299.

I didn't even need to jailbreak my old 3G 16GB and I sold it for a cool $375.

The prices for the 3G iPhone is still high. People seem to not want to be tied to a contract.

The 4G is not a year away try 3 at least for AT&T. Best to get the 3GS now ASAP before the 3.01 operating system is released if your want to jail break and unlock.
