I am looking for a sweet deal to Hawaii in March 2010. Need flight, hotel and car rental for 7 days. Anybody have a good idea where to start looking? Thanks

Ive posted about Pleasant Holidays. Compare other sites with their packages.

I only mention them because when I was in LA I used to see super low prices in the LA times ads all the time. Ive never used them and Ive always wondered if they were decent so I have no idea if they are OK or not. However I recently saw their ads on the web and their prices do seem to be cheap but Im not exactly searching for deals to Hawaii since I live in Hawaii though I will be soon scouring the ads and calling places up for deals since I want to start a website but Im no where near doing that yet.

No joy, Expedia beats their prices for the week I am going.

For us, it was cheaper to get separately

Try:
plane: Travelocity or hawaiian airlines website
car: http://www.discounthawaiicarrental.com/ (I cannot recommend them enough. I found out about them through tripadvisor and they got prices that were 1/3 of all the other rental sites w/coupons and travel sites.)
hotel: hotels.com for priceline

It helps sometimes to do a simple internet search to see which of these travel websites are currently offering coupons that can be applied to your trip (i.e. google "expedia coupons" and scour the results for pertinent codes. A favorite coupon site of mine is retailmenot.com). I would suspect that since you're traveling in 2010, you may have to wait until January or later for codes applicable to your trip to appear.

Of course, checking these forums doesn't hurt either. That is how I came upon an Orbitz coupon that takes $200 off a Hawaii vacation package with a stay 6 or more nights (ENTERTAIN200 - exp. 12/31/09 and travel must be completed by then too). With this coupon, Orbitz's prices for the week that I am going are much cheaper than Expedia, Travelocity, hotels.com, Hawaiian Airlines, Hotwire, Priceline and AirGorilla.com. I was able to get flight plus a 7-day stay at a 4-star hotel for $1,499.22 total for two people.

A quick note about AirGorilla: a co-worker of mine used them to book a last-minute, 8-day vacation package (flight, 5-star hotel and a dinner cruise) to Oahu this past May for about $1,200 for two. She said the secret was her flexibility in travel dates. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find such a deal for the time that I'm going, but perhaps you will.
