Hello everyone,

I am looking to upgrade my current Toshiba laptop 1.6 with 1gig ram laptop(qosmio E15-AV101). I would like to get a new system and need help finding a deal and which system to get. I want to get a real nice machine. Here are some specs I would like to get . As far as price I am not to set on how much, but dont want to go to high.

I would like a fast processor at least 2ghz I think Core 2 duo.
4gigs Ram
At least 250gb drive
Separate Video Card
Bluetooth
DVD RW
Webcam would be nice
Nice screen with 15" to 16"
Something not real heavy
Also a decent battery life would be nice also

Thank you for your help.

I don't have a suggestion for a certain laptop, but I would suggest creating a deal alert for "laptop".

Edit: I just saw this (http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?threadid=1479051) thread. Maybe that would suit your needs.

Just watch the hot deals forum for a few days, there's a new laptop deal everyday that fits your specs... including lots of HP deals in the 16" size.

Any thoughts which is a better manufacture? I am not sure which one gets the most bang for the buck.

that one is a good deal, but as far as cheap laptop manufactures go, they are all pretty much crap..

If you built it separately with everything you listed the cost is $1164. This is without the MS office, but gives you 15 month virus protection. Did you try building it with just what you really need?

Yea price is higher if I start from the home page and add what I want. Came it $949. From doing some research it seems the lenovo is a better system. I own a toshiba currently for the past few years so I dont know which to get. I was looking for a high end unit for a great deal. Thanks for your help.
