Hear me out:

I hate the Iphone, the fact I have to add another package to get family unlimited messaging and that ridiculous data plan. I get a USPS 25% discount but the plan is still fairly high @ $135 and that is with no data plan on the secondary line and a paltry 700 minutes.

I am interested in getting the Pre or the Hero when it becomes available and I would like to keep my discount and be able to have everything I need (good amount of minutes, unlimited data and messaging on both lines). The problem is that technically I am no longer employed with the USPS. Is there a way to carry over my discount from ATT or will I have to find another way to get a similar discount.

If you guys have any ideas, solutions, or whatever please let me know.

PS: I was thinking about just signing up on Sprint and Federal http://pcsorders.sprint.com/federal/packages.php?ref=usps...but I am not sure if they do some sort of verification.

Thanks for the help.

You won't be able to verify your employment to get the new discount on Sprint.

Sprint does have the everything plus plan (http://sprint.com/everythingplus username:russ.s.mcguire@sprint.com code:383) You can get 1600min unlimited N/W 7pm, unlimited internet, message, navigation, blackvberry (if you choose) for 109.99. This includes 2 lines, extra lines are 14.99/mo per line (up to 5)

Don't forget if you are not out of contract for ATT you will owe an Early Termination Fee (or ETF) for each line you have. Just something to consider.

Okay I called and they said I have an etf of $110 and $120 on the secondary line. Then she said I would also have to pay my previous bill or something to that extent so I am wondering should I strip all my lines meaning take off the iphone data plan, family messaging, insurance, and lower the family voice plan to the $550 minutes. And if I do all of this, when should I do it considering my bill cycling ends on the 9th.

Thanks everyone!
