Seeking an opinion on value, because I'm looking at two options:

$852: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz / 2GB RAM / 160GB Hard Drive / NVIDIA GeForce 9400M / SuperDrive / iSight Webcam / Bluetooth / Extreme WiFi / Mac OS X Leopard
$1,055: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.26GHz / 2GB DDR2 / 160GB Hard Drive / NVIDIA GeForce 9400M / SuperDrive / iSight Webcam / Bluetooth / Extreme WiFi / SD Slot / Mac OS X

These are both aluminum unibody MacBooks (13.3 inch) and I'm debating whether it's worth the extra $200 to get that little bit of processing power and an SD slot. Thoughts, Mac folks? I'll be doing video editing in iMovie and photo editing in Photoshop along with some word processing, IM'ing and web browsing.

I'm guessing the 2.0GHz one is the late 2008 model, and the 2.26GHz one is the mid 2009 model. If that is correct, then the following are the differences...
2.0Ghz - 5hr battery life, max RAM is 6GB, no backlit keyboard, removable battery
2.26GHz - 7hr battery life, max RAM 8GB, backlit keyboard, 60% greater color gamut, firewire 800 port, irremovable battery, SD slot

I think I would spend the extra and get the newer model.

The second one is not a unibody. It's the regular macbook.

Here (http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/macbook_pro/macbook-pro-unibody-faq/differences-between-macbook-pro-13-inch-mid-2009-sd-firewire-800-late-2008-unibody-core-2-duo.html) is where I got the information. They both use DDR3 RAM not DDR2 RAM as stated in the OP.

Ah, all the info was just cut-and-paste from J&R, but thanks for that link. That helps a lot.

After the Bing cashback it's the $855 I was talking about. (Ditto for the other one.)
