Just called their number. The lady I spoke to said "Not a problem, that sample is still available. I can look up which salon or store in your area carries the sample...Oh, we don't mail them out. You have to pick them up in person."

hmmm...do they flag anyone who's gotten a ton of these freebies and has yet to buy ANYTHING from Aveda or used their salon...? >.>;;; i know every time i go in there to redeem these freebies they check to see if i'm in their system, but i'm not sure if they mark down on a list and can see if i've made past purchases/freebies before...

does anyone know? I've gone in to get freebies at least 7-10 times now and haev never made a purchase, so i reaaaaaaaally don't want them to flag me. :lol:

then again i don't really plan on ever making a purchase or use their salon, at least nowhere near now (they're just too expensive, my friend said she has never gotten out of a haircut there without spending over $100 because they keep saying she needs this and that treatment)

Dont know if they flag you but they do keep a record of purchases in the store but the salons are not connected and you are not obligated to buy anything from a salon if you dont want to. See if there is an Aveda Institute near you you can get a hair cut 15.00 and you get salon treatment with your sevice. You get a SRE (stree relieving experience which is a scalp and shoulder massage w/ oils, cut and style; you cant get that at super cuts and an instructor is there to check every step even Oprah mentioned it on her show!
