I know this thread is a couple weeks old now, but I would also be interested in this, so if you've found anything Sayian (or anyone else), it would be much appreciate if you'd post it here =D

There was a mesh chair on sale at OD next week but its 99. There are usually tons of OD coupons every week so you should be able to get it down a bit fairly close to 80. Try Bing Cashback combined with a coupon and choose pickup. Its possible you might lose cashback because they have some fine print about not allowing both cashback and other discounts but even if you lose it I think its 2-3%.

I think OD has some cheaper mesh chairs too.

Thanks! I saw that earlier, and was thinking about it, my current chair is just in terrible shape, and wasn't that good of a chair to start with lol.

According to the usual sites theres a code 16836277 thats takes 20 off 100 which would bring the chair down to 80.

According to OD cachback at BING its 10% so I would try to get both. The coupons sometimes dont work though so you might have to look around the coupon forum at Slick deals or other sites to find that works. Even if they dont pay the cashback 20 off 100 is pretty good. If you are worried about it other cash back sites will probably give you 2-3 percent or so for OD even with the discount.

Figured I'd add this one from Office Max this week:

Demas Mesh Task Chair

49.99 (normally 69.99)

Don't know how good it is, would have to go try it.

Youll get that for less than 100 in your dreams. Thats like those Aeron chairs that were must-have items during the tech bubble in the 90s and early 2000s. I used to see everyone posting about them and was shocked that such a simple looking chair was that expensive. Im surprised though you cant find something like that for cheaper than 600.

There were lots of knock-offs too at a much lower price but still expensive if you are used to looking at cheapo chairs. I would like 150-200 chairs that have lots of padding. At the usual places like OD until you pay around 200 in the past, the padding was kind of sparse. When you get a 200+ chair theres a lush like of leel to the padding and its really comfortable. Recently they had a sale on that type of chair down to 150. With some coupons you could have gotten it down to 120 or so probably. The down side is it isnt a mesh chair so in hot areas you get the sweaty back and its a bit on imposing side, its not as unobtrusive as the mesh chairs that look really light and less massive.

Not quite as fancy looking as the other one but this is half the price but still expensive --- at Staples.

I guess the cheaper ones besides the possibly quality issues and adjustments often have non-mesh bottom seat cushions and also no headrest and split back.
