Also try Sears Hardware stores. I was able to get a good deal on a stove last year. It's a Kenmore (Whirlpool) which was originally $1200 for $379 last year. A couple of weeks ago I purchased a Kenmore (Whirlpool) fridge which was originally $1699 for $765. Both were discontinued models. They were doing an extra 10% off for friends and family on a Sunday between 6p and 9p.
I've found at the regular Sears stores the deals aren't as good, but can be found there as well. Also see if there's a Sears Outlet store in your area. Go to the Sears website and there's a link to the Outlet store and it will tell you what is available and give pricing. IMO, I've found the deals at Sears Hardware are still a better deal though if they have what you want. In my instance, I checked the price on the stove and got a better deal than the Outlet by $200 for the same model.
The coupons I've found at the post office are for 10% off at Lowe's. This is a better deal in my opinion.

They didn't verify I moved and I still received the coupon!

No joy here for the coupon thru email...it's been 48 hours, so I guess I'll get it snail mail.

When I went to the Post Office to get a packet to change my address last week they told me that I have to do it online now. They don't have the packets anymore.

The last few times I looked for the booklet at my local P.O. it wasn't there.
When I could find them years ago, the ones my P.O. had NEVER had the Lowes coupon.
If they're trying to move everything to the Web, they may have some behind the counter in case patrons ask for one. I would think they'd HAVE TO keep hard copies on hand for those who don't use the Internet.
