Wife needs something to track schedule to make sure she doesn't miss any of the kid's appointments. I am looking for a PDA that would help her out with this that we could sync with outlook calendar. Must be easy to use. Don't want to spend more than $150. Any thoughts? Anything I should stay away from?

It's not quite in your price range but I was looking for a PDA and ended up with an iPod touch (8 GB) and an app called Pocket Informant and haven't looked back. I picked up the iPod for $179 refurbished direct from apple but I suspect there are better deals out there if you look around.

www.dyscern.com they sell refurb'd palm pilots under $100 easy. i've bought 3 from them over the past 3 yrs, all worked fine.

might be a good solution for now.

other than that, get a smartphone, prices are around $50 nowadays. you can get a smartphone and not even activate it, just use the calendar function.

Check 1997.

Seriously, the integration of the PDA with the phone is very convenient. Get an iPhone.

:iagree: There are tons of free apps available from app store that can give you pda type functionality. Supposedly new ipods are coming out so you may be able to find a decent deal on current models.
