Do they have any diet versions of this drink? From what I can see, these drinks have 45g-55g of sugar, which is truly gut-busting.
Could be great for a post-workout drink, though....will have to see if there is one between gym and home!

Don't waste your gas or time. I got this drink free from their last promotion. It's the worst smoothie I ever tasted. The flavor is very artificial, kind of like a bland spritzer. One sip and down the drain it went.

Thanks, +4 reps to the OP and the poster of the PDF. Too bad I didn't see this earlier, I just went there for lunch today. Guess I know where I'll be stopping on the way home, I've been wanting to try the new flavor. I tried the mango one when they first came out and it was nasty (weird fake chemical taste), but the strawberry one is OK. I think the new one is Pina Colada, sounds good.
Anyone use the coupon yet?

A very grouchy shift leader at store 2297 gave us a very hard time but eventually rang the drinks up. She magically ran out of strawberry freeze after just two other customers ahead of us with the coupon received their free drinks. At first she said she would only give one freeze, because we were obviously all together and she would only honor one. Untrue, we arrived separately, unknown to each other, and only together in our frustration with her.

I've had varying degrees of success with this.
Last night at the drive thru of TB, a manager refused our coupons saying "She doesn't accept internet coupons." My 2 daughters went today to the same Taco Bell and went inside, and a different manager accpeted it. My fiancee and I went to a different one and we also got our free Fruitista's. So, we have altogether received 4 free ones.
I also plan on calling corporate about the rude manager (will not mention what type of coupon it was) because she was VERY rude.

I picture this ending up very much like the Starbucks "free drink" coupon a couple years ago - a local marketing promotion gone awry with national corporate implications. I bet Yum! Brands will shut this down within a couple of weeks. (Not that Yum! is especially coupon-literate - see the KFC free grilled chicken drama that played out a couple months back.)
Use while you can!

I'm guessing that they stop accepting the coupon way before the end of the year. These free coupons with extended expiration dates have a way of dying an early death.

Isn't it like the first rule of slickdeals club to not talk about slickdeals club to customer service departments, and the like?

I tried that one today, and it was good. I like that they put pineapple on top of it. The fruitistas all kind of have a weirdness about them. I wouldn't pay what they're priced at, but for free (or if they were priced way lower), I'll take it. Pina colada slurpees from 7-11 taste better, though, IMO. I like to mix the pina colada & banana Slurpees together. :yummy:
Isn't it like the first rule of slickdeals club to not talk about slickdeals club to customer service departments, and the like?
The 1st rule of slickdeals is do not talk about slickdeals.
The 2nd rule is do not talk about slickdeals.
And I'm sure there's an implied "do not call" in there somewhere.
It's much more convincing when Brad Pitt says it. :P

You're picking about what you eat or drink. Taco Bell would not be making and selling these if people who had lacking taste buds did not like the product.

Not sure what people are complaining about, this drink tastes great.
And FYI, it doesn't taste like a smoothie because it's not suppose to be like one, there's no yogurt in it. It's just a fruity refreshing drink from Taco Bell, don't expect Jamba Juice quality. Plus you're getting it for free, quit whining!

Isn't it like the first rule of slickdeals club to not talk about slickdeals club to customer service departments, and the like?
Reading comprehension is our friend!
I put, right in my post, that I will not mention what type of coupon I used. I don't tolerate bad customer service even if it does involve a freebie.

Actually it has average calorie count and amount of carbs, no fat, no protein, and your body burns carbs frst anyway. If you're already eating healthy & exercising regularly, this won't do much to ya.

I'm thinking it was meant to be local, but they didn't specify on the coupon, so it spread...or maybe it's like the CVS BB Q's where they weren't meant to be released online....or yet another promo where the company acts surprised that coupons spread this fast online, like no one's learned from past promos that this will happen when there's no resprictions on how many you can print (it just says one per person per visit). Either way, there's no way we're all getting free Fuitistas for 4 months, so get 'em while you can!

Worked in Houston, TX. This is definitely YMMV because I asked the manager if I can use this and from the looks of it she has never seen it before, but after a few glances, she said okay. I also bought 2 cheesy beef burritos, I didn't want that feeling of getting something for nothing. The Pina Colada was ...... awesome, one of the best $1.99 drink you can get especially on a hot day. Being frugal as I always am to myself, I would buy it again. Thanks OP!!!

Tried this out at the Taco Bell near university and the at first the manager said that she needs the original. I said that this is the original as I have printed it out from the website.
Then she said that it doesn't have a barcode and that it would not work since she has no way of authenticating the coupon. It could be a total forgery etc.
Anyways, it didnt work, and we wanted to try the drink. They said that it was frozen and we'll have to wait a few minutes. Even after waiting for 10 minutes, the machine was still frozen, so I asked for a refund and left.
It is nothing different than an icee or a slushie.

I used it and ordered at the drive-thru. Best to do it that way and hand it to them at the window. No problems. I had one of these before when they introduced them. (Except for the fact that they put so little of the strawberry stuff on top. Looks like more of a garnish, which is pretty much how taco bell is with everything. Just a pinch of cheese, small squirt of sour cream. I always hated that about them.)

Funny you should mention that. I went in there and the tech was working on the Frutista machine because it had frozen up. After a while I was finally able to get a strawberry one as requested. Yes, I would describe it as "so-so".
I would never pay $2.00 for a Frutista. I wouldn't even pay 2 Iraqi Dinars for it [which is equal to .001724¢ here in the states]. :shake: Free is good, though.

I'm up north in Akron, OH (just south of Cleveland) well my daughter and I went in and order the Strawberry and she order Pineapple, half way through the Strawberry froze up, so I said just to mix them, by the time they finished getting our two all three ended up being frozen.
As for the coupon, the cashier didn't even flinch and even rang it through the register as free Fruitista Freeze. So it appears the store I went to was expecting the coupon. :woot:

It's not fraud if you printed out the old coupons and use(d) them. If you took the new one and doctored the image, that would be a different story. No one is encouraging fraud here.

...but when I got it with food, they charged me $0.11 tax. Still slick, but I have to wonder why I was charged me tax when I also bought food, but did not charge tax when I didn't.

Finally used one of these the other night. Cashier didn't blink. Can't tell you how it tasted as I got it for my daughter -- but it made her day as she has been sick and appreciated the thought. She liked it anyway - it was the Mango w/strawberry. Thanks OP & repped!

seems there is another coupon. as moderators mentioned it is not be posted,
I am not sending here.
On the way back from the beach.. ran into two taco bells. The first one took the coupons no problem, zero hesitation. The second one was a complete no go. Cashier told me to wait while she went to ask her manager if they would take the coupons. Manager comes out and says they would take "only" "original" "non photo copied" coupons. WTF !?   I told Mr. Genius Manager these are clearly printed from the internet, i printed them from my printer at home. Then he said they were photo copied......?? ??? :vomit: :vomit: :vomit: :vomit: :vomit: :vomit:

I don't get why these coupons says "Void if copied, reproduced..." when it's an internet offered coupon. That just contradicts the whole idea of printing these coupons online.

I was able to use the coupon in Fayetteville and Dunn, NC. I made 2 copies and that was it. Did anyone save it? I need print out more. Thanks!

I've used the original coupon twice in the last week. The fruit drink is good but not worth $2.00+ for it. However, my coupon at the Taco Bell at the Chicago Ridge (IL) mall was refused. I was told that this restaurant is corporate owned and they do not honor coupons! That's ok there are several other locations in the area. Thanks! I repped.

That doesn't seem right. It seems like corporate stores would honor promotions, but franchises would be the ones that have the option not to participate.

Interesting that it's still working for many...
My blog CouponPro.blogspot.com was contacted earlier this week by a representative from Yum! Brands, Taco Bell's parent company, and we were obligated to remove the coupon post.

Obligated? Tell them to get lost, it's public domain.

ahaha, they probably just realized they made a huge mistake in not putting that
i wonder how much $ taco bell is gonna lose
It's basically fruit punch mixed with crushed ice... it probably costs them a whole 20 cents to make. I feel like a tool walking in just for a free drink so I order a meal so they probably made money off me and others aswell. It not exactly a big scandal like some people making it seem.

The coupon on the KZZP page has been removed. Weird, I'm in Phx and it's nowhere near Dec 31! Why wouldn't they just change the date on it if they had a problem with the number of redemptions.
