I currently have 2GB of SUPER TALENT STT DDR2-667 2GB (2x1GB) CL5 S-RIGID. I have two open slots in my MB and I'd like to at least go with 4GB (2x2GB) of memory

Anyone who can help me out with a link and honest suggestion, repps all yours! :bounce:

TIA.

Please post the make/model of your computer, or (if it's a home-built PC) the make/model of the motherboard.

Is your PC's OS 32-bit or 64-bit?

Sorry, currently 32-bit.

EDIT: I've done quite a few "memory", "4GB", and "DDR2" searches. But just wasn't thrilled with the results.

Ok, just so your realize that with a 32-bit OS your PC will only be able to use appx. 3.25 or 3.5 of RAM, even if you install 4GB (or more) of RAM.

To help you find a deal, we'll need to know the make/model of your computer, or (if it's a home-built PC) the make/model of the motherboard.

Thanks.

Gotcha. Yeah there's a good chance I *may* go Windows 7. It's a home-built PC. GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3 LGA 775 v3.3 Express ATX Intel Motherboard.

Thanks, Dave.

Here (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?submit=ENE&Configurator=MemoryConfigurator&CFG=CFG003GA%2D965P%2DDS3%20%28rev%2E%203%2E3%29&DEPA=0) are some options @ Newegg.com (assuming your board is the 3.3 Revision)

Some additional choices @ Crucial.com (http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.aspx?model=GA-965P-DS3&pl=Giga-Byte&cat=RAM)

and here's (http://www.gigabyte.us/FileList/MemorySupport/motherboard_memory_ga-965p-ds3.pdf) Gigabyte's QVL for RAM.

Good luck!

I'm really trying to find 2 GB of 533 mhz memory and have zero luck as well.

Frys usually has good deals but their website sucks!
