AT&T Cell phone Plan

My wife is going to get an Iphone no matter what so I need to switch to At&t from verizon so we can do the family plan. I have to have a windows based phone so I have 2 favors to ask:

1) is there specials now on family plans with data with at&t?

2) what is the best windows based smartphone with a keyboard? no touchscreen?

They will soon have the family plan with a 10 person calling circle.

It's heavily rumored that Verizon will start carrying the iPhone next year.

I prefer a Blackberry over a Windows Mobile Phone. All the Windows phone's were slow as snot when i checked them out.
