why trade caps for flaps and vice versa?

Some people can only enter in a few codes a day (some even less), so it makes sense for them to trade away their flaps so that they'll maximize their... umm... pointage (15 points in caps is better than a single 10-point flap).

For the other people, who have caps to spare and can enter in 10 caps a day every day, it makes sense to them to, again, maximize their pointage, by entering in 10-point flaps instead of 3-point caps.

If the trade ratio isn't too one-sided, both parties benefit greatly from trading this way.

(I didn't say it makes sense, but strangely, I have had much success after doing this.)Hey, just decided to post this to help people who are getting Blockbuster Rentals from MyCokeRewards.

If you have coupons come up as already redeemed, when you know for a fact that they haven't been used, its not your fault.

Mycokerewards coupons have been having some issues, and some coupons are just invalid coupons.

Instead of saying "wow, i got owned" you should GET A REFUND!

Follow these steps...

1) Go to mycokerewards.com
2) Click FAQ
3) Click "ask hank"
4) Type "email" and hit "talk"
5) Click the "email us" link that shows up
6) Type a message saying that you had x number of coupons come up already redeemed
7) Wait for a reply and a credit of the amount of points the invalid coupons cost!

Identifying Coke products

You may want to know what type of drink a particular MCR flap came from. If, for example, MCR has another selective point-doubling day (in fall 2007, there was a week when Minute Maid and Nestea codes doubled), it would be handy to know if some of the flaps you have saved up are the right type. With that in mind, I made a few notes on the fridge-pack circle-and-bottle logos which are currently in use:

Flaps:
Red circle, white bottle: All Coke products (Coke, Diet Coke, Caffeine Free Coke, Coke Zero & etc.) and Barqs
Dark green circle, white bottle: Sprite
Green circle, white bottle: Vault, Fanta
Lime green circle, white bottle: Vault Zero
Medium blue circle, white bottle: Nestea
Dark blue circle, white bottle: Fresca
White circle, black bottle: Minute Maid

Something I noticed about red caps - might come in handy for future DPD's (yeah, right):

The red caps with a red bottle in a white circle come up with only Classic Coke and CF Classic Coke (or unknown) as flavor options.

The red caps with a white bottle (only; no white circle) give you the options for cherry coke and diet flavors like diet with lime and so on.

Perhaps saving some of these red caps w/o a white circle may be benefitial in the future.

MCR rarely gives us much info on their rewards, often even leaving out the model number. If you've gotten a reward, post the model number here so others thinking about getting it can do their research. You may want to include the date you ordered it, in case Coke changes what they ship out.

FEES: You agree to pay all fees plus any applicable taxes associated with the Ecount Card or the services outlined herein in respect of the Ecount Card set forth in the Fee Schedule provided to you with the Supplement (the "Fees") and you authorize us to collect the Fees by deducting the Fees from the balance of funds on your Ecount Card. The Fee Schedule is incorporated into and made part of this Agreement. We may from time to time amend the Fee Schedule as set forth in the section of this Agreement entitled "Changes to this Agreement."

LOADING FUNDS TO YOUR ECOUNT CARD: The Supplement will indicate if additional funds can be loaded to your Ecount Card.

HOW YOU CAN USE YOUR ECOUNT CARD: You may use your Ecount Card to complete Transactions up to the amount of the funds loaded at merchants that accept Network-branded debit card products by signing for your purchase. We do not guarantee and we are not responsible for the quality of goods or services purchased with your Ecount Card. As a result, you should always take due care in entering into any agreement with another person or merchant. You agree to resolve any disputes with a merchant who honored your Ecount Card directly with the merchant, and not to involve us in that dispute. You can also use your Ecount Card for the additional Transactions described in the Supplement.

AUTHORIZATIONS AND AUTHORIZATION HOLDS: Some merchants may ask us to authorize a Transaction in advance and may estimate its final value. When we authorize the Transaction, we commit to make the requested funds available when the Transaction finally settles. Thus, we may place a hold on funds on your Ecount Card. Some merchants also may add an amount to ensure that sufficient funds will be available to cover the final Transaction, such as a tip at restaurants. The authorization may be denied if the estimated amount exceeds your available funds. In some cases, an authorization may result in a hold for a longer period, up to 90 days. The funds subject to the hold will not be available to you for other purposes until the Transaction is finalized or the hold is released. In addition, if you cancel a Transaction after the merchant obtains an authorization, there may be a temporary hold for that amount of funds for 10 days or longer.

RECEIPTS AND OTHER DOCUMENTATION: You can get a receipt at the time you make any Transactions using your Ecount Card at an ATM or point-of-sale terminal, except for certain small Transactions. You may obtain information about the amount of money you have remaining on your Ecount Card by calling 800-764-5376. This information, along with a 60-day history of Ecount Card Transactions and Loads, is also available online at the Site. You have the right to obtain a 60-day written history of Ecount Card Transactions and Loads by calling 800-764-5376, or by writing us at [address].

LIMITS ON YOUR USE OF YOUR ECOUNT CARD: There are limits on the dollar amount and number of Transactions completed with the Ecount Card during a set time period ("Transaction Limits"). The Transaction Limits are described in the Supplement.

RIGHT TO STOP PAYMENT: If you have told us in advance to make regular payments from your Ecount Card, you can stop any of these payments. Here's how:

Call us at 800-764-5376 or write us at PO Box 284, Conshohocken, PA 19428 USA, in time for us to receive your request 3 business days or more before the payment is scheduled to be made. If you call, we may also require you to put your request in writing and get it to us within 14 days after you call. We will charge you for each stop-payment order you give, as set forth in the Fee Schedule.

Because your Ecount Card can be used only for the amount loaded to the Ecount Card, we recommend that you not use your Ecount Card for recurring payments. If you do, please be sure that you have sufficient funds for each payment. Otherwise, your payments will be rejected, and your Ecount Card may be terminated or suspended.

COLLECTION OF NEGATIVE BALANCES: You should expect that any Transaction in an amount that exceeds your Ecount Card balance will be rejected. If a merchant completes a Transaction that results in a negative balance on your Ecount Card, you agree to immediately pay the amount of the negative balance plus any applicable Fees to us at PO Box 284, Conshohocken, PA 19428 USA. If you fail to make any required payment, we have the right to initiate collection proceedings against you and/or report your failure to credit reporting agencies in compliance with applicable law.

YOUR LIABILITY FOR UNAUTHORIZED USE OF YOUR ECOUNT CARD: Tell us AT ONCE if you believe your Ecount Card has been lost or stolen. Telephoning is the best way of keeping your possible losses down. You could lose all the money on your Ecount Card.

If your Ecount Card is used to make purchases at merchants without your authorization, you will not be responsible for such unauthorized usage provided that (1) you notify us within 24 hours after you learn of the loss or theft; (2) you have exercised reasonable care in safeguarding your Ecount Card from risk of loss or theft; (3) you have not reported 2 or more incidents of unauthorized use within the preceding 12 months; and (4) your Ecount Card is in good standing.

If you tell us within 2 business days after you learn of the loss or theft of your Ecount Card, but you do not satisfy all of the conditions in the prior paragraph, you can lose no more than $50 if someone used your Ecount Card without your permission.

If you do NOT tell us within 2 business days after you learn of the loss or theft of your Ecount Card, and we can prove we could have stopped someone from using your Ecount Card without your permission if you had told us, you could lose as much as $500.

Also, if an Ecount Card history that you obtain shows Transactions that you did not make, tell us at once. If you do not tell us within the lesser of 60 days after you received a written Ecount Card history or accessed an electronic Ecount Card history, or 120 days after the Transaction was first made available in your Ecount Card history, you may not get back any money you lost after that period if we can prove that we could have stopped someone from taking the money if you had told us in time. If a good reason (such as a long trip or a hospital stay) kept you from telling us, we will extend the time period.

If you believe your Ecount Card has been lost or stolen, or that someone may use your Ecount Card number without your permission: Call as at 800-764-5376, contact us at our Site, or write to Enterprise Risk Management Department, PO Box 284, Conshohocken, PA 19428 USA.

OUR LIABILITY FOR FAILURE TO COMPLETE A TRANSACTION: If we do not complete a Transaction or Load on your Ecount Card on time or in the correct amount, according to this Agreement with you, we will be liable for your losses or damages, to the extent required by law. There are some circumstances where we will not be liable. We will not be liable, for instance:

1. If, through no fault of ours, you do not have enough money on your Ecount Card to make the Transaction;
2. If, through no fault of ours, the funds on your Ecount Card are not available because the fund are uncollected, or subject to legal process;
3. If the ATM or merchant where you are making the Transaction does not have enough cash;
4. If circumstances beyond our control (such as an Act of God, fire or other catastrophe, or an electrical or computer failure) prevents the Transaction or Load, despite reasonable precautions that we have taken;
5. If your Ecount Card has been reported lost or stolen and you are using the reported Ecount Card;
6. If we have reason to believe that the Transaction or Load requested is unauthorized, suspicious, or fraudulent; or
7. If you attempt to complete an impermissible Transaction at an ATM or merchant.

There may be other reasons stated in this Agreement.

IN CASE OF ERRORS OR QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR ECOUNT CARD: Contact our Customer Service Department at 800-764-5376, at our Site, or write to PO Box 284, Conshohocken, PA 19428, as soon as you can, if you think an error has occurred on your Ecount Card. We allow you to report an error until the lesser of 60 days after you received a written Ecount Card history or accessed an electronic Ecount Card history, or 120 days after the Transaction or Load was first made available in your Ecount Card history.

1. Tell us your full name and Ecount Card number.
2. Describe the error, or the Transaction or Load you are unsure about, and explain as clearly as you can why you believe it is an error or why you need more information.
3. Tell us the dollar amount of the suspected error.

If you tell us orally, we may require that you send us your complaint or question in writing within 10 business days.

We will determine whether an error occurred within 10 business days after we hear from you and will correct any error promptly. If we need more time, however, we may take up to 45 days to investigate your complaint or question. If we decide to do this, we will credit your Ecount Card within 10 business days for the amount you think is in error, so that you will have the use of the money during the time it takes us to complete our investigation. If we ask you to put your complaint or question in writing and we do not receive it within 10 business days, we may not credit your Ecount Card.

For errors involving new Ecount Cards, point-of-sale, or foreign-initiated Transactions, we may take up to 90 days to investigate your complaint or question. For new Ecount Cards, we may take up to 20 business days to credit your Ecount Card for the amount you think is in error.

We will tell you the results within 3 business days after completing our investigation. If we decide that there was no error, we will send you a written explanation. You may ask for copies of the documents that we used in our investigation.

EXPIRATION DATE; AVAILABLE FUNDS DO NOT EXPIRE: While there is a card expiration date embossed on the front of your Ecount Card, the funds on your Ecount Card do not expire. The expiration date is provided to ensure that your Ecount Card can be used at merchants that request and/or require customers to provide an expiration date during the Transaction process. You may not use your Ecount Card after the expiration date. If you do not use the full amount on your Ecount Card by the expiration date, we may issue you a new Ecount Card automatically, or you can call customer service to request a new Ecount Card (the "Replacement Card"). The charge for issuing a Replacement Card is set forth in the Fee Table. Subject to applicable law and for valid reasons, we reserve the right to decline to issue a Replacement Card.

PRIVACY: We collect, use and disclose personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. In particular, will disclose personal information to third parties about your Ecount Card or the Transactions or Loads you make?

1. where it is necessary for completing Transactions or Loads, or
2. in order the verify the existence and condition of your Ecount Card for a third party, such as a credit bureau or merchant, or
3. in order to comply with court orders, or
4. if you give us your written or other permission, or
5. as described in our Privacy Policy and as described below in the "Personal Information" section.

A copy of our Privacy Policy is included with and incorporated into this Agreement. You may also review our Privacy Policy at any time at the Site.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Except to the extent described in the section titled "Our Liability for Failure to Complete A Transaction" or as described in the Supplement, or as otherwise required by law, we, our affiliates and the parties with whom we contract in order to offer the Ecount Card are neither responsible nor liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating in any way to the Ecount Card, your use (or misuse) of the Ecount Card, the Site, the content or information contained within the Site, or any products or services purchased using the Ecount Card.

TAXES: You acknowledge and agree that we are not obligated to determine whether any federal, provincial or local tax applies to any Transaction involving your Ecount Card and are not responsible for collecting, remitting, or reporting any sales, use, income or other taxes arising from any such Transaction.

TRANSACTIONS MADE IN FOREIGN CURRENCIES: Your Ecount Card is denominated in Canadian currency. Transactions made in currencies other than Canadian Dollars will be converted to Canadian Dollars under the then current regulations of the Network. Those regulations currently provide that the conversion rate may be either a wholesale market rate or government-mandated rate in effect the day the Network processes the Transaction. The currency conversion rate in effect on the processing date may differ from the rate in effect on the Transaction date or the posting date. We will also add a Foreign Currency Conversion Fee on all Transactions made in currencies other than Canadian Dollars. The Foreign Currency Conversion Fee will be equal to a percentage of the amount of each foreign Transaction, as set forth in the Fee Schedule.

BUSINESS DAYS: For purposes of this Agreement, our business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT: We may, in our sole discretion, add to, delete, or change any of the terms of this Agreement, including the Supplement (each, a "Change"). Among other Changes, we may add or increase Fees at any time. We will provide you with notice of Changes to the extent required by law.

TERMINATION: We, in our sole discretion, may terminate this Agreement, your access to your Ecount Card, or your access to the Site for any reason. We will provide you any notice required by applicable law. If any funds remain on your Ecount Card, we will pay them to you by issuing a cheque. We may terminate this Agreement immediately, without prior notice, if you commit any fraudulent, illegal or impermissible acts or provide false information to us, in which event we may withhold from any payment to you any amount we reasonably believes you owe as a result of any wrongful conduct in connection with your Ecount Card or the Site. You acknowledge and agree that we may set off the amount of any outstanding fees or payments due to us prior to issuing any authorized refunds.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: You authorize us to collect from you information that relates specifically to you ("Personal Information") for the purposes of authorizing and processing transactions or services you have requested in respect of your Ecount Card and on-going account administration (to meet risk management, fraud detection and prevention and security requirements, to meet requirements under anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing laws and regulations and other legal, regulatory audit, processing and industry self-regulatory requirements, including as required by foreign laws applicable to us, or our affiliates, agents, mandataries or service providers) and to disclose your Personal Information to legal and regulatory authorities, as appropriate, for the same purposes.

Personal Information that we hold regarding you will be used only in activities generally carried out by us and only our employees, agents or mandatories or any party to a contract of work or services will be given access to such information when deemed necessary or useful to perform their duties or carry out their mandates or contracts.

Any file concerning you will be kept at the appropriate department with Customer Service. You may access some of your Personal Information on the Site, and you may also obtain a paper copy of such information provided you pay the reasonable fees charged by us for this purpose. You may also contact Customer Service to request access to your file and rectification of any inaccuracies in your Personal Information.

You agree that we may, at all times, without notifying you, assign (by assignment, sale or otherwise) to any person, any of our right under this Agreement, including, without limitation, the issuance of your Ecount Card or any card services associated therewith. The assignee or our successors may be required by applicable laws to retain your Personal Information for a certain period of time and the assignee or our successors may collect, use or disclose your Personal Information for purposes similar to those described in this Agreement.

You acknowledge that we may use agents and service providers, including our affiliates, to collect, use, store or process Personal Information on our behalf. Some of these service providers or affiliates may be located outside of Canada and your Personal Information may be transferred or processed outside of Canada for the purposes described in this Agreement. Contractual or other means used by us to protect your Personal Information are subject to legal requirements in foreign jurisdictions applicable to our service providers and affiliates, for example, lawful requirements to disclose personal information to government authorities in those countries.

In order to enjoy quality service and obtain any information available with respect to the Ecount Card, you authorize us (or our subsidiaries or any other enterprise we deem appropriate) to use the information we hold on you for the purpose of sending you any documents, advertising material, or information that we consider appropriate. You can ask us to cease using your Personal Information for these purposes at any time by contacting Customer Service. We shall not refuse to render the services provided for under this Agreement for the sole reason that you have withdrawn your authorization for us to use your Personal Information for the purposes described in this paragraph.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION: This Agreement is subject to specific arbitration provisions. Any Claim (as defined below) will unless prohibited by law, be determined by arbitration outside the court system. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to waive any right you may have to commence or participate in any class action against us related to any Claim, and, where applicable, you also agree to opt out of any class proceeding against us. Arbitration will be conducted by [one] arbitrator pursuant to the laws and rules relating to commercial arbitration in the province in which you reside. The language of the arbitration shall be in English or, if requested for cardholders in the province of Quebec, in French.

"Claim" means any dispute between you and us that arises from or relates in any way to your Ecount Card or the any Transactions, including disputes concerning: (1) any items you purchased with your Ecount Card or any Transactions with your Card; (2) advertisements, promotions, disclosures or documents relating to your Ecount Card or to any Transactions; and (3) this Provision's applicability or enforceability or the arbitrability of disputes under this Provision. It includes disputes based on constitutional provisions, statutes, regulations, ordinances, common law, equity, contracts, and acts and omissions of every type (whether intentional, fraudulent, reckless, or negligent). It includes disputes that seek relief of any type, including equitable relief, damages or declarations of legal rights.

ELECTRONIC ALERTS: Cardholders, at their own discretion, can opt into electronic card alerts. Card alerts are available via email and/or text messaging. The service is provided by us through the facilities of a wireless service provider(s) selected by you ("Wireless Service Provider") or a computer having access to the Internet ("Computer"). A "Content Provider" is a third party content provider to the source. A "Technology Provider" is a third party provider of technology services necessary to operate the service. "Equipment" means the wireless receiving equipment through which you intend to access and use the service. "System" means the computer hardware and software owned or operated by us or any Technology Provider and used in providing the service. THE CARD NOTIFICATIONS THAT YOU SELECT TO BE PROVIDED TO YOU THROUGH THIS SERVICE ARE FOR CONVENIENCE PURPOSES ONLY. UNLESS SPECIFICALLY STATED OTHERWISE, THE NOTIFICATIONS ARE NOT REAL TIME AND WILL ONLY BE SENT DURING THE TIMES YOU SELECT. THEY DO NOT AMEND, SUPPLEMENT, CHANGE OR REPLACE ANY OTHER NOTICE OR INFORMATION THAT YOU MAY RECEIVE IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ECOUNT CARD, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED TO YOU ON YOUR ECOUNT CARD HISTORY OR CARDHOLDER AGREEMENT. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS ABOUT YOUR ECOUNT CARD OR THE STATUS OF YOUR CARD (SUCH AS THE CURRENT AVAILABLE BALANCE OR TRANSACTION HISTORY) YOU SHOULD CALL THE NUMBER PROVIDED ON THE BACK OF YOUR CARD OR USE OUR ONLINE CUSTOMER SUPPORT. You are not charged by us for use of the service or access to the Information (as hereinafter defined) available as of the date you agree to these terms and conditions. However, your Wireless Service Provider may levy fees or charges for receipt of messages by your Equipment through the service, and you are solely responsible for such charges. We are providing you with access to various types of information through the service which may include, without limitation, your Ecount Card balance and other financial information directions (the "Information") solely for your own use and not for further redistribution. The Information is our property and is protected by applicable law. We reserve any rights not expressly granted herein. All Information is believed to be accurate and timely (subject to any delays), but we and our Technology Providers do not warrant or guarantee such accuracy or timeliness or the security of any Information transmitted to you using the service. The service and System are available through your Equipment when it is within the operating range of your Wireless Service Provider or a Computer having an active connection to the Internet. The service is subject to transmission limitation or interruption. You acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for performance degradation and delays of any kind including those due to conditions on the Internet or due to the Equipment, your Computer or actions of the Content or Technology Providers. You acknowledge that we and any Content and Technology Providers shall not be liable to you if the service in a given location is not available. If the service is not available within your intended location, you agree that your sole remedy shall be to terminate this Agreement. You agree not to use the service for any unlawful or abusive purpose or in any way, which damages our property or interferes with or disrupts the System or other users. Resale of the service is prohibited without prior contract arrangements with us and any required regulatory approvals. You are responsible for ensuring that your Equipment and Computer are compatible with the service and System and meets federal standards. Any information provided to us by you in association with the service shall be governed by our Privacy Policy posted on the site. We and our parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliates, including their respective directors, officers and employees (collectively, "Companies") shall not be liable for any loss, injury, claim, liability or damage of any kind resulting in any way from (i) your use of the service, (ii) access to the System (iii) your use of any Equipment or Computer in connection with the service or for Equipment or Computer failure or modification, (iv) the content of Information or other materials included with or accessed via use of the service, (v) the failure to deliver any card notification(s) or the delivery of notification(s) at times different that the times that you have designated, (vi) any acts or omissions of any Content or Technology Providers, (vii) for system failure or modification, or (viii) any "force majeure" (i.e., any flood, extraordinary weather conditions, earthquake or other act of god, fire, war, insurrection, riot, labor dispute, accident, action of government, communications or power failure, or equipment or software malfunction) or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of us or our Content or Technology Providers. WE AND THE CONTENT OR TECHNOLOGY PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL , PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT OR FAULT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, AND THERE IS NO WARRANTY OR CONDITION (EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE) RESULTING FROM THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE OR SYSTEM, OR FOR COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS AND SERVICES OR RESULTING FROM ANY MESSAGES RECEIVED (OR NOT RECEIVED) THROUGH THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE, EVEN IF COMPANIES AND/OR THEIR CONTENT OR TECHNOLOGY PROVIDERS HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

MISCELLANEOUS

1. Entire Agreement: This Agreement, including the Supplement, constitutes the entire agreement between you and us with respect to your Ecount Card and our relationship regarding the Ecount Card, and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous agreements, claims, representations and understandings of the parties in connection with the subject matter hereof.
2. Governing Law: Unless otherwise prohibited by law, this Agreement and your Ecount Card are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
3. Severability: If any provision of this Agreement shall be deemed unlawful, void, or unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
4. No Waiver: No failure by us to enforce the strict performance of any provision of this Agreement will constitute a waiver by us of any right to subsequently enforce such provision or any other provisions of this Agreement.
5. Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under this Agreement. We may assign our rights or obligations, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice to you.

FCAC: If you have a complaint regarding a potential violation of a consumer protection law, a public commitment or an industry code of conduct, you may contact the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada in writing at 6th Floor, Enterprise Building, 427 Laurier Avenue West, Ottawa, Ontario K1R 1B9.

LANGUAGE: By registered for, activating or using the Ecount card, you confirm that you have expressly requested that this Agreement and any related document be drawn up in English. IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OBTAINING A NEW ECOUNT CARD: To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU: When you request or register for an Ecount Card, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.

TRANSACTION LIMITS

1. Daily dollar limit for purchase Transaction: $1,500 CAD per day or your established daily limit
2. Daily limit on number of purchase Transactions: 12 POS

We reserve the right to modify the Transaction Limits from time to time. We will notify you of any change in the Transaction Limits as may be required by law. I had two big plastic bags full of MCR Coke caps, (and a few Pepsi & Dr. Pepper caps, and some Dasani). I googled the cap recycling program Aveda talked about a while ago to see if it was still going on. But since I was going to an Owned & Operated Aveda Institute, I figured I was safe going there! Where they ever happy to accept them! I mean, these were the big giant Target bags, double-bagged for safety. One girl said "What would you like?" I said what do you mean, I get something? She went back to the counter and gave me sample bottle of "Calming body cleanser" and a tiny tube of "smooth infusion" glossing straightener. Very nice! (Turns out on the Aveda page there's a banner ad saying you get a free sample of the infuser with an $80 purchase!)

I checked again when I came home and Aveda did have a sampling program when you turn in 25 caps, but looks like that offer was over last year. So I dunno if it'll work at your local salon which uses Aveda stuff.

I wasn't thinking of caps entering the helmet. I guess the neck end of the bottle could do the same thing though. Good points made.

This almost bodes the question: Where do you stop banning items in the stadium that could enter the helmet and cause some form of injury? Seems like a slippery slope and a fine line for where something is or is not allowed.

I guess it wouldn't do to throw coins then.

I tried for the one they had last month, but I didn't like the look of the current model enough to go for it. I think most of my current free sweeps entries have gone for the South Africa trip.

Says you. A bottle will bounce off a helmet. A cap will go into between the bars and cause a devastating eye injury that'll make every ref in the league feel like a total piker.

The reason they take the caps off is that a sealed plastic bottle full of liquid is a much more dangerous projectile than an open plastic bottle. When you throw an open bottle, the contents slosh out, and the bottle itself crumples on impact, there is no pressure keeping it rigid. When you throw a sealed bottle full of liquid, it's a lot heavier, the outer shell stays rigid, and the cap itself is harder than the bottle. And if the contents are carbonated, all those effects are multiplied. Also, you can throw a sealed heavy plastic bottle with a lot more accuracy and force than an open plastic bottle, try it sometime.

And it's not just the players on the field that they are concerned about, they don't want you throwing those sealed bottles at your fellow spectators either.

A secondary consideration is litter, caps are a lot harder to spot if dropped on the field.

BTW, vis-a-vis contests, I seem to remember from a MCR Community discussion or email that they are were planning on having several very high value gift cards in May sweepstakes. I don't remember where I saw it, but I think they were talking about $10,000 in gift cards or something like that.

As soon as I finish downloading my MCR-paid songs and get the last two dollars out of the way, I'm deleting the program from my computer. Anything with a host that crawls this badly doesn't deserve to stay on my system. I've done triple this speed when downloading songs from Amazon -- and operating on a friend's dialup.

As far as Amazon goes: I'd be shocked if that was one of the 10k GCs being weakstaked off next month. They're too popular: MCR doesn't want to add them onto the menu even once for fear of every member demanding Time #2 on up. If the current IW was for a single Amazon dollar per hit, how many of us would have given serious thought to opening multiple accounts? Fifteen dollars in fifteen days times whatever number of passwords you were willing to risk running... but at the same time, there would have been a lot more competition for those dollars.

Winning a $10,000 Visa GC would be nice.
I think I would rather see 30 people win a $1,000 card rather than 3 people win a $10,000 card. More people end up happy and the odds are better that you might win, although still by a slim margin.

Yes, that would be a much better way to go, but this is MCR we're talking about here... They don't want to make lots of people happy in the long run; they want those 3 people to be very loud, for a long time, about their win. It's MCR's attempt at proving wrong those who said that going with most or all sweeps would ruin the program. In a way, it worked, for me at least; a lot of the naysayers will be crawling out of the woodwork for this one. I hated the idea of so many sweeps that I have very little chance of winning, and paying the taxes on those prizes is not worth it to me. But, with a $10,000 prize? I could use part of the money to pay the taxes and still have enough left over to pay off some bills and take our family of 6 on a nice vacation.

As an additional bonus to MCR, there will be enough people attracted to the $10,000 prizes that there will be a lot of points that MCR won't have to honor with a physical prize. That is not counting those who use banked entries, though ;)

You can 'bank' 50 plays and you can play 50 times per day.

Sweeps: 50 entries in any combination in any of the sweeps.

I had a weird issue tonight with the IWG. The code it gave me came up as already redeemed on rhapsody's site. I went into my rewards account, and it had a different code displayed. That one worked. So, if you get one of these "already redeemed" codes, check your account history before you spaz out and email coke.

Also the ones I just won tonight are showing up as 4/30/09. I think their dates are screwed up, though. I plan to try again tommorrow.

Just wrapped up the last of my Rhapsody entries: won the dollar early and banked most of the rest. If the 10k GCs turn out to be 6-point entries, I can now put just under 1000 tickets into the pool. Of course, the way I've got it figured, that would give me 0.0000000001% of the entries. (All the rest would be held by MichCamper.)

Meanwhile, a whole lot of (mostly untaken) Rewards just left the menu: we're down to 168 total items after most of the Limited Time offers simul-expired. Tomorrow should have some new listings to go with the May weakstakes -- but no guarantees.

If the sweeps turns out to be like the BBQ one the odds will be horrible.
Too long of an entry period for my liking. Too few wins in that sweep for my liking either.
I will enter as you can't win without playing, but I'm not an all-my-eggs-in-one-basket player either when it comes to sweeps.

Possibly from a past bad code credit ? Did you use the contact form or Call and maybe they just credited it now ? I have mailed my bad caps/flaps when I had too many and then the credit just showed up ...Or maybe you entered a code during a bonus points and they didn't give you the credit and they fixed it ? Or ...maybe you attempted to enter a sweeps and it didn't make it in correctly so they credited it back to you ?:confused:
Who knows with coke ...just Be Happy it wasn't a Point Deduction !;)

Has anybody noticed anything weird with the Rhapsody sweeps? When I clicked on rule 5b to start banking entries, the top of the security code window said "Free Wii Instant Win Entry". I'm guessing it will still bank the entries properly, but that's kind of weird to me

EDIT: Well, it didn't credit properly, and gave an error message saying that my session had timed out

Posted before - it takes about three weeks and it will move from the left to the right and you will get another email. It's then about three weeks until you get the card. Some people have gotten then in as little as a week so YMMV.

Looks like slightly different prize structure: might be 2 movie tickets(39,750 total) or the cash card(39,750 total). Also, 1 monthly prize(8 total) of $10k scholarship and 1 quarterly prize of Ford Fusion Hybrid(3 total) or $25k).

You have to use the scholarship within 20 years, so if you don't have any kids, you'd better get busy.:lmao: Looks like it can only be transferred to family members.

Given the description of the movie tickets(downloadable certificates), I'm gonna guess that it is e-moviecash, as opposed to a fandango code. Those are the ones with the one time credit card numbers that you download into a PDF file.

Seems like more explicit language about 1 account per person, could be disqualified etc.

Total ARV of all prizes: $1,910,000.

As previously indicated, there are 3 being given away. I agree with you Mich, this would have been much better broken up into a lot of smaller cards with multiple winners.

Also, the HDTV sweepstakes is actually for a $2,000 Best Buy gift card.

Seems there are two games now. The new one is "Twist TXT ...you could WIN BIG!".

Same thing as the old game, just a different number and some different prizes. Text Coke classic cap codes to THIRST for the same game as twist txt get. This one runs from today to the end of the year. (twist txt get ends on 5/31).

Of course, Coke screwed up. Only coke classic caps are acceptable, but they've got coke zero bottles and caps all over the promo for the new game. I tried a black cap and it got rejected as "not a coke code".

Just use the alternate free entry. No need for a cap code for either one.

I can just see all the confusion with both of the games going at the same time. They should have waited till the first one was done and over with. Let see all the DQ emails start pouring in now.

Even more confusing, the redemption codes for the new game don't work on the old site and vice-versa. The https://www.cokeutc.rewards4promos.com/default.aspx (old one) and the new http://www.cokecap.r-4-p.com sites are virtually identical and even the login is the same, but they won't take each other's codes. And they still have the same crap.

...AWEsome. I have 4500pts with which I can buy crap I don't want or redeem for codes to get negative discounts with.

his first win was the regular one and Still hasn't arrived yet ...but just got the email saying it was successfully registered and should arrive in 3-4 weeks.
He is 15 and they require a Parents Auth. to get the Reloadable card BUT it rejected it saying my SS and id was already entered ...DUH ??? I Play too ...
So I went back and got the NonReloadable card for him ...

It's been an ongoing problem for over a year, started by my son hanging off my hand, pulling and twisting my fingers, which he hasn't done in months, but doing stuff like using a manual can opener, moving a dresser or opening a car door makes it worse. I couldn't even write yesterday. Thanks, I hope it gets better soon, too, because I've got at least a dozen projects to get done, lol :hug:

Still can't get logged in on the MyCoke UTC site using FF. I even tried two caps (haven't done that in a long time) and didn't win on the original UTC program.

Sore hand woke me up a little while ago (4 o'clock in the freaking morning, thank you very much!) so I figured it might be a good time to do some Coke UTC entries... The site won't let me log in on FF. Trying IE.

OK, was able to log in on the main site in IE, attempting to go to Twist txt get. Successful so far, trying ENJOY side first. Official Rules flyout shows up, but does nothing when clicked (bottom of window still says Done, no activity)

10 minutes later: Rules finally came up. It should not have taken that long, even on dialup

No wins, I'm going back to bed
This won't take long to read, but it took about 45 minutes to write (most of it spent waiting)

I really hope your hand feels better. Maybe you should get it checked out. There may be something seriously wrong. It's better not to leave these kinds of things go for too long. If things are left without getting looked at and fixed, there could be permanent damage.

Actually it is a $10,000 gift card, much cheaper for Coke to give out gift cards and mail them out instead of mailing out all that food.

I purchased a nice nike hat for a birthday gift today, in a B&M store, using a $25 gift code from Coke.

The hat cost $20, I asked to get the rest on an actual gift card. The clerk had to go ask the manager. He came back and said "she said no, you can't purchase a gift card with a gift card."

Oh brother. I didn't have time to really bicker, so I just rolled my eyes and said "You're kidding?" So now I have the rest of the code still w/$5 on it.

The Nike B&M store did, however, have actual Ipods! No touches, but plenty of nanos. First I'd seen at the B&M.

Just won the movie passes. I haven't redeemed the code, found out if the site works, the file is compatible with my version of Acrobat, or if the theater chain I'm supposed to use them at exists within two thousand miles of me -- but migawd, I won them anyway!

When I redeemed mine, it initially gave me a list of participating theaters within five miles of my residence (four of them) with the option to move the search out to 10, 15, and 20 miles. AMC was one of the viable chains, and there was more than just AMC available.

So at first glance, it looks like Coke's set this up with a number of major chains all over the country, just to make sure every possible winner has somewhere to go. Unusually foresightful of them. I'm just hoping someone bothered telling the theater employees, because I think at least one of us is going to run into the dreaded 'That doesn't look like money to me' pre-programmed non-thinker.

I wish Coke had the Gold tickets available on the MCR site... if I'm going to wait 2 weeks for a movie, I can wait for the $1 redbox dvd rental!

I'd redeem points for an AMC Gold movie ticket, but not the Silver + pop they have available now on MCR.

Actually it is a $10,000 gift card, much cheaper for Coke to give out gift cards and mail them out instead of mailing out all that food.

Well, yeah, I know they're not actually sending out a year's supply of food, lol. But it probably won't be a Visa or MC card; it'll probably be GC's that are valid only for a specific month and then expires, and for a specific store of group of stores

I didn't know that the plastic codes were reduced to 15, unless it's a glitch. I have one, and am tempted to try it just to see what happens. It's from a 32 pack, Coke, I think. I am also tempted to email MCR about it if it comes up as 15 points instead of 25.

As for the $20 card having $25 on it, that is common, and I think everyone who has won the $20 card has had a balance of $25. We don't know exactly why (or at least I don't, lol)

Coke has new smaller "cases" out now that are 15pts, I think they are 15 or 18 cans, the 25pt codes are on the larger 32 can cases.

Yes, the extra $5.00 on the IWG cards is free money! looks like everyone got an extra 5 on those, I won 3 early in the promo, all had a $25.00 balance, no other card wins since, but I did win 2 movie tickets in the new game today.

The 15 point code is from the new 18 can shrink wrap package. The 32 can shrink wrap code is worth 25 MCR points. Check with your sister to see if she is purchasing the smaller packages of coke products.

Hee hee, thanks! I hope he (and his sisters) keep winning, too! They all need and want stuff that just isn't in the budget, and this way, they get to use a "credit card" and get good practice for when they have a real one... although, it's really not a good way to develop good habits with real credit, lol.

Odd thing happened with my son's winning emails... He got 3 total, two of which were received at 12:15 am. Looks like they both have the same code, though.

it's when you go and "enter" the iwg, but instead of clicking "enter now", you click the "enter later" and then you can use the 6 pts for sweeps, do this 50 times a day, and you can get 300 banked points a day

So there is no difference between the Nike and the Nike ID cards, except now there's another $50 card you can max out 3 times. That's cool.

Yeah, if you have the points for it, lol. As it is, I almost have enough for a $25 Nike GC. I also have the caps to get there, just not feeling like texting that much, lol.
