Here are my criteria:
1. Under $650. Obviously lower = better
2. 37" or 40". 40" is preferable. I won't pay $650 for a 37" tv
3. 1080p
4. Reputable brand with excellent hd and sd image quality
I will be using it to play PS3, watching Blu-Ray, and watching football/sports in hd. My wife also watches a fair number of hd and non-hd channels, so good standard definition viewing is highly preferable.
I saw two months ago and three months ago that the 40" Sony Bravia was on sale for $630 and $660 respectively from Dell. How often do deals like this come out?
What website should I be checking?
Ive checked BestBuy, Target, Sears, Sams, Walmart, Costco, Dell, Tigerdirect, and newegg every day and seen nothing for a while now
