Hi all,
I am in market for 52" LCD TV.
I am keeping eye on XBR9 or LN52B750. Is it fair to expect the price to fall to $1500 by this thanksgiving?
I know none of us has crystal ball here. :) But I appreciate your thoughts.
Thanks.

B&H had the 52" xbr for about $2k last week. It's possible it may go that low when the
52" xbr10 is plentiful. Maybe around Christmas or after CES.

I haven't seen the LN52A750 that low. $1600 is the lowest I have seen, not including shipping.

They are talking about the LN52A750, not the LN52B750
I don't see them being $1500 by Thanksgiving...or even before mid year 2010...Not an expert though.
BTW, I have the LN46A750 and the TV is incredible.

Sorry I should have been clearer, the point I was trying to make is the 2008 model 52" 750 series Samsung isn't that cheap yet and it is last years model.

I just ordered a LN52B750 from an authorized Samsung seller for $1566--FREE SHIP and NO sales tax to my state. It was to compensate me for not being able to fulfill my original order of a LN46A950 with them.
I think one is able to find deals like mine if one engages with the salespeople. If you go by strickly by published or advertised prices on their website, then it may not come down this low by Turkey day. It seems the salespeople of some merchants have quite a bit of discretion on the final sales price for bigger items, such as a $2000 TV.

I did this deal 10/14. Everything included for $1595.00 + a 6' free HDMI. I'll take delivery 10/26. I had to do a bit of homework online to find a combination of coupons, prices and such to bring the price to US Appliance to match and beat. I submitted it all online to them and heard back w/in 24 hr.s. They were great in dealing w/me. I also bought a Samsung blue ray BD-P3600 fr. US Appliance for $229.00 TOTAL today(10/20)! Normally $279. Use SAM50 for a coupon code to get the $50 off. I don't think I left much if anything on the table. Good luck.
