my 9 year old and 10 year old are going out this year. I'm not happy but they are. Heck around here the Game Commission does Youth Field Day events in each county and the kids can win guns, bows, tree stands, etc. Each of mine have won shotguns (of course they are in hubby's name) I moved to the wrong part of the state when I was in college, I sooo hate hunting. I think the junior lisence is the one that is less than $3 but its limited in what they can shoot. They also have to stay arms width from the adult and they cannot carry the firearm through the woods. A youth license has limits also but not as much as a juniors. I don't know what DH thinks I'm gonna do with all this meat possibly three bucks, and four does.:(
