Cheap internet deals?

Any good deals in Southern California? The bill payer in the house decided to save 5 dollars a month and take a different deal offered by verizon, no contract though, but the net speed is now 1mbit and not 3mbit... So now I am looking for something good to replace that, dont need TV, and phone is optional.

Any DSL company is fine now that there are proposed net neutrality rules
