So I know now that my integrated video card on my motherboard is about to go the way of the dodo bird, and I've been hearing some great things about the 5850. I don't really know if I want to jump the gun on this big a purchase just yet, but I was hoping you guys could perhaps help me in finding a good deal on one of these cards. Are there any places right now you would recommend, especially if there is maybe Bing cashback or another promotion where I'd save money? Thank you!

P.S. I know there's a thread about the ASUS HD5850, but I felt that it didn't pertain to what I was looking for in a broader sense.

Yes, I have a 650W power supply that can handle that. You only need a PSU with at least 500W, apparently.

First of all, what resolution and games might you be using this for? If it is for something less than 1920x1080, I would recommend you get one of the cards in the highly competitive mid-range market.

I do however have to say that the HD5850 looks to be stunning, and I couldn't resist buying one for myself.

I want the HD5850. I have been holding out for it. I would rather not spend $100 on a card that is already outdated. I just wanted to know if there were any good deals for it with cashback or whatever at the moment. :)

It is MSRP, but it is a new card. Your only discount will most likely be the BCB, although you would need to pay shipping:
