hey guys, i recently give my laptop to my mom, because her laptop is too damn slow. Now i'm stuck with my desktop, school started and i really want to get a small laptop to carry around campus, just to type notes/paper for classes and some basic office stuffs, so want to ask you guys to look for a cheap 9" to 11" laptop, preferably below $160...below $100 would be terrific... Lol. Thanks in advance.

At that price, your only option is Dell Outlet Inspiron 10, and you need to wait for a 15% off coupon and be fast and lucky in the outlet.

Read the threads that have the words Dell outlet coupon.

People got mini 10s for $199-239 before coupon.

Otherwise, I don't think there is a new computer you can get anywhere for $160 or below. Certainly not $100.

YOU MUST MASTER the art of Dell Outlet!

Search for your system, sort by price, REFRESH, and, when a computer with a good price pops up, ADD IT TO CART FAST! Check the specs after you add it to cart! LOL.

You then have 15 min. to buy it, or to keep refreshing your cart to keep it in. You can checkout and cancel the same day too, generally.

If you do this, you will find an Outlet deal. One way to know you are getting a good price is to see what others are paying for the same config. Like I said, prices for Dell 10 was low $200s before coupon.

$160 is about as low as you will find, and it's going to have to be with a stroke of luck. $100 just isn't going to happen.

anything lower than 200 is going to have a small HD prolly 8GB SSD, while SSD are very nice, small capacity sucks.

Also these netbooks will most likely have 512 ram where 1gb is what you really should have IMO.

Since you didn't mention any specs except for screen size, I assume you are not looking for much. Here is a Toshiba for $149.
