I have a few HDDs from old computers and wanted to get some cases to start at least the HDDs for backup purposes. The lowest price I have found is still around $30 w/shipping. Anyone know of a cheaper place?

Are these IDE or SATA drives?
When you say you want to use these old drives for backup purposes, will this be only to backup your current computer? Does this project absolutely require you to use a USB connection?

Ive seen cheaper ones that 30 at Newegg or at least I did the last time I looked a while ago. The only problem you might have is IDE. I didnt find to many IDE cases a while ago. They are still around of course but they were starting to disappear when I was looking at cases. I finally just bought one of those cheapo IDE and SATA cable kits where they give you a cheapo power unit and IDE/SATA cable connector which you can plug into your USB plug which were on sale for 5-9 bucks.
