What are the difference between these 2 items (other than the tall speakers):

I think the newegg.com version has no HDMI inputs, and the 6ave has 2. But, can't I just connect those directly to the tv anyways?
Any advice on these two will help (feedback, etc.). I've read rather mixed reviews on the newegg.com set, but pretty much all 5 stars on the 6ave one, which is strange because isnt the 6ave set just a newer version of the newegg set?
