Dunkin Donuts in CT (excluding Fairfield County) is giving away free travel mugs filled with coffee when you trade in any competitor's travel mug. This may expire today (it's advertised until 10/9/09), but the store I went to said they would continue until they ran out of travel mugs, and they had a huge box left.
I brought in an old dirty travel mug from my lost and found at work, and left with a new mug filled with hot coffee! Free!

I guess the idea is trade in the advertising of another company's coffee and you start advertising Dunkin Donuts coffee. Very inexpensive advertising.

I watched them throw my trade-in away, so it's not being recycled or anything. But now I'm using a mug with DD all over it so they do get the advertising.
Oh, and I forgot to mention that you also get a card for a 99 cent refill of the new mug. :)
