Sprint Exclaim phone or similiar

My son has to wait 6 months to get a new phone and he can't use the one he has. The refurbished ones at the 'sprint' store are to expensive. Can't get the upgrade for awhile.

ANY ideas about how to get an exclaim or similiar phone for a !cheap! price. Desperate here. The only thing he wants for his birthday is a new phone. Please help me!!

Go to craigslist you should be able to find a phone that will work for him.
