Hey all,
So i have been working on a small project. I am taking my grandparents first thing that they purchased when they got married, a 1942 Philco Console Radio and i am making it into a modern computer. I have retained all of the cosmetic integrity. I am using an older P4 3.2, 2GB ram, 512 ATI, Creative Sound Audigy 2 system. The main objective was to do this project with spending as little as possible on the PC portion, trying to go more green with my spare computer parts.
I can spend some money on the screen though, the wife gave me the thumbs up :woot:
So i have been looking for a 7" to 10" screen, VGA ready, does not need sound, NEED it to be touch (could have a stylis pen or physical touch) and that's basically it.
I will attach a photo here (at the bottom) of the fully sanded and ready to be stained/poly'd radio. The hole located at the top is 9.5" wide by 5.75" tall. So the physical measurements should exceed 10" wide by 6" tall. that would be around the perfect size.
I would like to keep the cost around or under 200.00$ if i can. I have found a few for that price with shipping. But they are 7" in size and total size is smaller than what i need.
I would go as high as 300.00$, the wife ok'd that much.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks again guys :)

EDIT: Here is a photo of how i am setting up the inside of the radio with the MoBo, PWS and HD bay on the right across from PSW. Just the general setup. The PSW is not mounted yet, this was just after the MoBo mounting.
