In all seriousness, what do you consider inexpensive? There are a few good hotels in the $150-200 (cheap by NYC standards) range. If your stay involves a weekend, look into hotels in battery park (Hilton, Millennium, etc.). If you are really cost conscious, hotels in Jersey City or Hoboken may be cheaper. Always check hotel ratings over at tripadvisor.

What dates??

I booked the:

Four Points by Sheraton Manhattan Chelsea
on Dec 3 - 7 for 250.00 a night. Prob the best and cheapest for Manhattan

Oh yeah I also have a companion ticket voucher. I used one already, me and my girlfriend are flying from LAX to JFK for 350.00 total.
