Went this morning with my father (age 89) to the Torrance, CA location at 9:00am and picked up two free canes- called earlier that morning and store said they had 40 available.
Showed my father's USN Retired ID and brought in a copy of my USAF DD214.
Got the canes in minutes and walked out and grabbed three small brownies- then we drove to Ruby's Diner and got the free cinnamon roll breakfast- just paid for two coffees and side orders of two eggs each and 3 sausages and 3 bacon- total bill was $9.20 plus $3.00 tip.
Now going to rest and head out to Outback later this evening for bloomin onion and drink- then purchase prime rib dinner with king crab.
