I don't know how this could happen, but it would be great if there was a way for threadcrapping posts to be deleted.
Maybe a new mod alert that could be used to report JUST threadcrappers.
The ability could be limited to people with a certain number of posts under their belt.
It just sucks to go through the effort of posting deals only to have some complete fark-head say something stupid and not contributing to the health of the thread.
certain rules would need to be established, but in the end the better good would be served.

I think the deal posts are harsher than the lounge posts.

Most of threadcrapping is from pathetic newbies who were prolly banned from their old FW account and just want to PO people.
But lurkers who don't realize it just think the deal sucks because people said so.

Why not modalert the posts. Then they could be deleted or hidden.

Mod alert the post and enter "threadcrapping" for the reason.

I thought of that, and have done it in the past, I just didn't want to hassle mods everytime it happens, because it happens a lot lately.
I am sure you guys have a lot to deal with as it is.
If that works for you mods then it'll work.

And I agree the threadcrapping is annoying - I'm a newbie but have seen enough of it and I've only been a member since yesterday - some people just have nothing better to do unfortunately

If you post crap, I'm gonna thread crap it. Sorry about your girly man feelings, but if you post about ugly jacket for sale, I'm going to save someone's style sense of fashion and post, "FUGLY JACKET".
If you post a crap deal, and I find other places that sell it cheaper, I'm gonna post that with the links to better deals.
If you post crap quality deal, I'm gonna threadcrap it.
