Is it?
I'm asking becuase I've seen some reposts of offers in forums other than the one they are supposed to be in and the OP (usually a noob)claims that they searched and searched (they didn't) and that no repost alert sounded when they hit submit. In each case, the deal was posted in a form th than te oe where he original thread resided.
Now, it could be that they they only searched in the wrong forum as opposed to doing a site-wide search so the deal didn't come up. My Question is, would that also make it so that the repost alert wouldn't detect the links as identical?
Another question - I've noticed that when an OP includes more than one link in the original post of a thread, it seems to affect the Repost alert. is that my imagination or does posting multiple URLs in a thread's opening post screw with the repost detector?
Thanks
