Bargain Magazine Forum?

It appears to me that a lot of people are becoming rattled when someone posts a "bargain" magazine thread in the "Free Magazines" Forum. It would seem to the basic person that magazines belong in the magazine forum, whether or not they are denoted as 'free'. Would it be possible to please everyone and just change the name to something like 'Bargain/Free Magazines'? I have no idea if this would work, but what's there now doesn't appear to be working.

Also, people are requesting free magazines in the magazine forum, only not in the 'Official Free Magazine Request Thread'. How many people go to the 'Official Free Magazine Request Thread' looking to help someone find a magazine? Let's put this into perspective & compare the amount of requests to actual amount of links given. Ok, so I just counted and I see 11 pages of requests and 11 actual links to free magazines. 6 of them were in one post.

well you can always post non free mag subscriptions in hot deals.

One other thing, my point is basically that while people could/should/occasionally do post bargain magazines in the Hot Deals forum, they don't.

Change it to bargain mags and you'll get all sorts of people throwing in "80% off newstand prices, only $19.99" kinda things.

I don't mind an occasional $3.50 deal thrown in, but lets keep it as close to free as possible.

But people don't do that now, yet at the same time they do throw in bestdealmagazines.com stuff.. how is that much different? I'm not trying to be insolent here, just asking curiously.

There is no such thing as a bargain magazine. If it isn't free, it isn't a bargain.

lol that's funny snipe! Anyways kapoentje if you think there's a hell of a deal on a magazine subscription, which isn't free, just post it on the Hot Deals section. I don't see a point for a bargain magazine forum. A simple google search can get anyone cheap mag subscriptions but finding free subscriptions require a bit more work hence why I feel a "Free Magazine" forum is ideal for it's specific purpose.
