just create one with the @intel.com as your domain name my friend. it will work because they are only verifying the domain name. see their policy pasted below

So I was going to use the Intel Employee discount to get 2 Heros and upgrade my 2 lines I already have for $129 each phone and wait for the $100 mail in rebate to make it $29 each phone.
My wife does not need a fancy phone so I was just going to sell the other Hero. Just curious about how the $100 rebates works. I only want to activate 1 of the phones, so does that mean I will not get the other $100 rebate if I do not activate the second phone? Phone lines already have our old phones and I was just going to keep my wife's old phone on the second line.

Not sure if there is a link and the one UBS is a different company. If you go into a Sprint store and verify your employment they can get it applied to your account there.
Also, there is a long list of other companies with good discounts (just not with the great phone deals).
Hope that helps.

how about AT&T? I know they offer employee discount. In fact, I work for a school so I am eligible. However, they want me to change my family plan over from my hubby's name into my to use the discount. I said, "okay, fine." Then as they are doing it over the phone, they tell me it will be $18 per phone plus I will lose ALL of my roll over minutes:mad: You can only imagine how PO'd I am. Anyone know any way around this. I have been with them for over 12 years and am never late with my payment. No loyalty from AT&T!

I applied the 27% JPMorgan discount to my Sprint account and I got 2 emails, the first one said it will be applied in 2 months. the other I got a few days later that said my plan details have been updated and it listed my plan and what it would cost except no where does it list any sort of discount being applied. its the same when i go to sprint.com and check out the plan details in my account
is that normal? I originally went to sprint thru the FNF deal couple of weeks ago and it also didn't list the 20% discount either after I activated the plan in my account settings.

negative - according to sprint's privacy policy, they WILL NOT send email to the corporate address supplied. take a look at the policy. take a look at the other thread where people have been landing the accenture and citigroup discounts using corporate email address successfully. no email is sent from spent to the corporate address. however, sprint will send email to the personal email address. there is a difference on the form when they ask for email address and corporate email address.

yes this is normal. it takes about 2 months for the corporate discount to take effect. a csr should be able to confirm the applied discount if you want to be certain. just give them a call and inquire about your discounts. they should see it on their system.

So, applying a corporate discount to an existing personal plan will not result in any e-mail to the corporate account? There seems to be some ambiguity between people in this thread.
Also, if i submit a request, and i made up an e-mail, if sprint finds out about this, what action/possible action could they take?

duckthehobo - no, the corporate email will not be contacted. it is solely used as a check against the domain name. here (http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1742804)is an active thread where people are landing the accenture deal using a fictitious email address. it works. i've answered this question over a dozen times and continue to validate the process.
and there is no "if sprint finds out about this" because there is no investigatory team put together by sprint to go out and determine invalid accounts. everybody is making money and happy so why would they.
good luck

no, this cannot be combined with an eprp like SERO. the upgrade will fail because discounts cannot stack. you cannot have a business account discount on top of an employee referral discount plan. you must have one or the other.

I know that it won't combine with SERO. I was just looking for something to help with the "New SERO" they have where you use an employee email and 3 digit code, and then you get those "amazing" plans.
I'm potentially going to activate 5 lines ($140+ a month) so I was hoping to maybe save another 25% or so.
Too bad I guess. :(

Just sharing my experience this week:
I tried that other posting/thread where you could upgrade and get a new HTC TP2 for $49.99 with that one link, basically it was the FNF/EC employee discount website, but I must have been one of the last people to do it because after about 3-4 emails from callsprint.com saying I was going to be contacted, my order would ship soon etc etc I had to email them asking what was up and they were looking for an email verification email address of something @ fnf.com. I wasn't about to make up one or use someone's so i just dropped the whole thing. (to be quite honest when i first found that link I thought I didn't realize what it was, but after it didn't work I was prompted to go find another solution!)
SO!
I currently have 3 lines + a mobile broadband card (under various contract expiration dates) on Sprint with the Everything Data Family with Any Mobile, Anytime Plan (1500 minutes). It is normally $129.99/month for 2 lines, then $19.99 for each additional line, then $59.99 for my broadband card. I had 15% "Employee Discount" which was a military discount offered to anyone in the military 2-3 years back when I signed up. After searching online they do still offer that, and they never verified that we were actually in the military (my spouse is).
I have been researching these forums ALL WEEK and I just used the CITI link posted here yesterday and have already received a confirmation email from Sprint that I will now be getting a 27% discount (instead of the 15%) OFF MY WHOLE BILL (Except my broadband card) so instead my plan being $129.99 its $94.89, and instead of my extra third line being $19.99 its $14.59! With anytime/any mobile we never even come near 1500 minutes. It doesn’t work if you have the simply everything plans (as far as i could tell).
Here is what I did:
Went to the citi link posted here (http://www.sprint.com/citigroup)
Clicked on Get Discounts, then typed in my account information (phone number) (it already has the citigroup discount code applied) and I entered in my own email (not some fake email address) BECAUSE it says right on the page to enter in your personal email address: "Personal Email Address: Needed to verify your records and protect your privacy. This should be the email address where you receive account-related updates from Sprint."
And like I mentioned I already received the confirmation email.
Here it is (I blocked out my personal info):

thanks for sharing skbullock. another sd'er landing a fantastic deal makes it all worth the effort :woot:

I know that it won't combine with SERO. I was just looking for something to help with the "New SERO" they have where you use an employee email and 3 digit code, and then you get those "amazing" plans.
I'm potentially going to activate 5 lines ($140+ a month) so I was hoping to maybe save another 25% or so.
Too bad I guess. :(
actually phoenixfp there might be a way to sweeten the deal from what i am seeing being posted in the other (http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1742804)thread.
people are:
renewing their contract for the $70 credit (not losing their $150 or $75 upgrade credit)
having their plan changed over from sero to the everything plan with a $20/month credit for 24 months to their account (some even getting additional 10% credit for aol membership??)
upgrading the everything plan to an employee plan through one of the employer portals (ie. citigroup)
checking with a csr to ensure that their $20/mo credit stays intact with their new employee discount plan
i have not tried everything i just listed although it has been confirmed. i can confirm that the $70 credit works. i sent an email to sprint cust serv requesting it and the credit was applied. i changed my mind and sent another email and the $70 credit was promptly removed. read through the other (http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1742804)thread thoroughly if you plan on trying these steps. lots of information is in there to help you out.

Help please? I am so confused from all this info coporate discounts / promotions / $20/24 / SERO. Can someone please explain to me if I can do the following:
I have SERO 1250 ending 1/15/10, and SERO 500 ending 5/1/10.
1. Can I call sprint and say I want to leave SERO 1250 and get Family 1500 + $20 off. But I also want to say I am an accenture employee so that I get the phone pricing and %25 off? I know I cant port my SERO 500 number over immediately so I will open a new number as the second line.
2. Then in January call sprint and go month to month with my SERO 500 acct because of regulatory fee increases.
3. Then port SERO 500 number to tracfone.
4. Then port number back to second line of family plan?

Hey, can someone verify if im thinkin this out correctly. If i use the citigroup discount (but i'm not rly an employee...just using the link), i ill get 27% off. I want to buy the 450 messaging plan which is 36 bucks. So if I purchase a brand new plan with this discount, the corporate discount will be applied from the first bil...assuming they aren't verifying the discount. I can get the samsung reclaim for free and use the code SAVE 50 for a 50 buck credit. now if i a family member who also has sprint, on a totally separate plan, i can get a 25 dollar giftcard if they refer me. does this sound like a plan? and if so, is it a good one :D

The Messaging 450 with an LG Rumor 2 and USPS discount comes to something like $20 a month AFTER fees with the SAVE50 discount for the first 2 months.
If I could afford to switch to that from the TnT 1200 I have with Page Plus, I would... Love the phones, but hate the prices. $40 a month after discount and with Home Calling seems decent, but...

incorrect - it should read 25 credit for two MONTHS for each phone. 4 phones equals $200 credit over a two month period.

:) thanks! I just had a couple basic, non deal specific questions about sprint covg etc and just phoned in, and definitely didn't like their sales approach. I'll have to think about signing up... the deals really sound good and I'm all for saving money, but she was really condescending when it came down to it, even asking me (and this is a literal quote) "what's your problem, why are you wasting my time calling in if you're not planning to buy today"
Thanks for posting the information though OP!

I know 4 people with Boost Mobile, think that would work?
I like their Messaging 450 plan. $42 a month with unlimited M2M, texting, etc, and I get a $25 credit for 2 months.

I did the intel discount. I get a sprint discount from my job and my husbands but we never used them or had an account with sprint. I get 25% off but I did intel because the Palm Pre and there other top of the line phones have awesome rebates.
I got the Palm Pre - $100 upfront, free after rebate.
Still have to pay the activation fee, and there was no area to use the SAVE50 Code.
It's still good to me because of the rebate for the Pre and the $25 Prepaid Mastercard for signing up through their link. After getting that back it will almost take care of 3 months worth of my cell phone bill. So really I'm only paying for the activation.
If I went through my employers corp site, I would pay $279 for the Pre ($179 after $100 rebate), no activation fee, and can use the Save50 coupon.

the code should still work or still be honored. it is currently advertised on the website. www.sprint.com/citigroup look to the add on the right. if the code is not honored during checkout, call support and get them to apply it since it is still advertised. they have to honor their advertisement. see attached picture from the website as of 12/31/09

yes. a lot of folks are missing out on the $25 referral bonus. both the referrer AND the referee get $25 mastercard debit card. if your boost mobile friend come aboard to sprint, open a "new line" of service and go through the 50 second automated referral phone recording where they enter your number as the referrer, they will get $25 and you will get $25.

i c. okay you are doing this the wrong way. for a brand new account just go to www.sprint.com/citigroup and start from there. put the SAVE50 code into the box at the end. even if it does not work, no worries, you will get it applied after you note the order number from the order confirmation email they send you, call in with the order number and have them apply the SAVE50 code to the existing order. you first have to establish an order. let me know how it goes either by replying here or pm.

hang up and call again until you get a rep who knows how. in the meantime go through the customer care contact us link (http://search.sprint.com/inquiraapp/contact.jsp) and fill in the question box. it will not get you what you are looking for but you have to fill it in to get to the next page. then in the right panel fill in the information there as much as possible and fill in the text box with a request that the SAVE50 code be added to your order. now some of the boxes are required like phone number. of course you do not have a phone number so just fill it in with junk numbers 9999999999 or something like that. any box you do not have information for that is a "required" box (noted by * ) you will have to put filler information.
while that notification is working in the background through their system you can also be on the phone with csr's trying to find one who can finally help you. and you never know, you might get the thing applied twice for a $100 credit :evillaf:

I think the simply everything plan is unlimited everything (minutes, data, text, etc.) and the everything data plan is limited minutes (mine is 1500 shared) and unlimited data, text, etc.
I don't think AT&T or Verizon offer any discounts like Sprint does. They just don't come close.
I just ordered two Samsung Moments for my wife and I. I used Accenture for my discounts...hopefully it works! So I can just lie about being an employee and make up an emal to make this work? I can do that for a $30 dollar phone! I hope this works.

........or you can just have someone who works at a big company sign you up for their great ATT and/or Verizon discounts. I know people who provide that service for a small one time fee (about $25), which usually is recouped in 1-2 months of savings.

Thanks so much for posting this. My husband and I are basically on the exact same plan as you, and have been looking for a way to discount our monthly bill. We have the Everything data share 1500 for $129.99 but only have 2 lines instead of 3. We also were getting the 15% military discount ( really it should be so much more considering other companies that don't fight for our freedom are offered a better discount). We also are paying for the $7 a line protection on our instinct phones. So total we are paying $142.70 with taxes and surcharges ( that is with the 15% discount). I went ahead and did everything that you wrote in your post. Here's to hoping it works!!! :woot:

I tried upgrading phones last night on citigroup and got the same thing. I had called in to change my 2 sero accounts to a everything data 1500 on Sunday and it changed to that yesterday. However, they did not change the subgroup from being part of the referral plan, so I called telesales last night to have it changed to a regular customer account. They said it had changed. When I logged in this morning, I got the same message as you.
what plan are you currently on?
Update: I was unable to do an upgrade on any of the Sprint portal sites (I found and tried several others that had the TP2 for $199 btw). On my F&F 550 family plan every site said my account was ineligible to purchase from that site. So I decided to call and ask for $199 Verision price match. It took me 3 trys but finally I got to someoine who said he couldn't do a price match but he could put a $150 credit on my account so if I pay $349 - $150 credit it would be equal. I said that I wanted the $20/24 mo in addition (they tried to say choose one or the other) after the usual runaround I got that added too. So are you ready to order the phone? I say after you add unlimted texting on all 4 of my lines for free and take off the $10/mo I now pay...DONE DEAL, maybe not the best SD but all legit. Guess I have 30 days to return it if I screwed up and I am now hoping the phone price goes down for a price adjustment!
Also, they said I could just go to a corp. sprint store and pick it up, it is now in my hands.

WOW U ROCK! now that was the long way around but man o man it produced great results. I love rubbing shoulders with fellow slick dealers who have the "i will not be denied" attitude :boxing:

Thanks, forgot to tell everyone that they also gave me the option of shipping it to me or said I could just go to a corp. store and pick one up, even could've waited until they maybe reduce the price but I went and got one and it is in my pocket.
Hi dabrownhornet, what's the chance of Sprint continuing to give you the $20/24mo off after 2 years if you switch to the ED plan from SERO? That's the only part keeping me from switching over; what if they only honor it for the first 24 months and once that's done, your plan increases by $20. As you know, I posted on your other thread (Accenture deal with Hero for $29) that I have the "old legacy SERO" and was able to upgrade to the TP2 for $199 just a few days ago :). My phone came yesterday and I have yet to activate it. The only reason I would switch to the ED plan is to get an Android phone, the HTC Hero. But if the $20/24 expires after 2 years, then I will have to pay $50+ (after corporate discount), assuming they don't honor it again.
I currently have $30 SERO with 25% legitimate corporate discount (probably because my SERO plan is the old legacy one in which their is no "SERO" in the plan description :)). I pay around $25/mo after taxes so for me, it's a safe bet. Even though I haven't activated the TP2, I tried it and it not that bad; I'm planning to install the cooked MightyRom WM6.5 on it to make even more efficient and faster.
I guess if I don't like the TP2, I can call retention, switch over to ED plan, ask for $20/24 and exchange the TP2 for a Hero.
Hmm...what to do, what to do...

i don't believe it will continue after 2 years unless you are able to fight hard for it. the reason is because you will no longer have any leverage. the only leverage i can see us having is threatening to leave if they take the credit away. at that point, its a toss up.
with the deal you presently have....i don't think i would change it. that is extremely sweet!

Thanks for your thoughts. I'll stick with SERO and save the $10/month (~$23 for mine SERO w/ corporate discount versus ~$33 for ED with $20/24 off and corporate discount); I'll use it to upgrade my broadband to 10Mbps down/1Mbps up :D. I'll decide 2 years from now whether to get an android phone. I activated my TP2 and installed MightyRom WM6.5. Pretty nice, I'm liking it. It comes with all the tweaks and pre-installed software to do phone tethering (via USB or Wifi). I'm able to get 1.2Mbps download and 600Kbps upload on this phone (3x my old phone)! Just downloaded Slingmedia Mobile on it and it works great. A lot of neat new stuff compared to my old Moto Q9c; rest in peace my Q9c. Gotta go find me a good case to protect this gem.

@OP, first, thanks so much for this! 2nd...... i currently have a sero everything data @$59.99 (palm pre) and a sero 500(moto q9c) at $30 (the $30 sero plan is out of contract and qualifys for $150 upgrade credit).
do you know if i could drop sero on both for $20 credit on each line ($40 monthly credit) and then get a citigroup (or other) discount off the already $20 per month discounted line? basically im hoping to get a htc tp2 (and dump the motoq9c)
also do u know if i could also apply my $150 upgrade credit thru citigroup? (i know if i was to try to get the tp2 thru sprint as is right now they would not let me use the 150 discount on tp2, theyd make it the same price as would be for new customer, 349)
id really appreciate your thoughts/ response on this! thanks in advance!

Is it worth it to keep the total equipment protection plan? Any thoughts? I've never really bought insurance with my other phones but they were gsm so I could easily buy another phone anywhere.

heres my experience with it: i had a moto q and wanted the newer moto q9c; so my original moto q phone accidently became water damaged (how unfortunate) so tep replaced my q with the newer q0c phone for a then $50 deductible. i have also heard of others doing this with their touch pros to upgrade to touch pro2. However, as of last year, assurion (the people who are contracted with sprint to deal with tep) raised their deductables on most phones to $100. So basically I would mainly consider the deductible in your decision. If your phone breaks, is stolen or water damaged is it worth upto $100 to replace? or could you get a replacement phone for less than that deductible

UGH zero luck on step 1, trying to get $70 discount for contract renewal!!! went from chat to 3 different phone csr's still no luck! any1 have any suggestions? a little nervous since i dont seem to be able to do step 1
also concerned that ive heard if you threaten to many times to cancel account or talk to reetentions that they can drop you. is that true???
add yet one more try for 70 credit, i keep running into "theres no note on your account, so were unable to do that" i cant help wondering if sprint csr's are some of the same people from australia that worked in a 911 call center and repeatedly denied a young man help (he was LOST in the outback) because he coulnt provide emergency services with an address for them to type in!!! too many people these days letting computers replace common sense! hopefully no one ever figures out to hack into sprint and put a note on my account that says "kill this customer"!!! lol
ok end o rant, sprint cust service sux

When you click on one of the links above, you actually get http://slickdeals.net/?sdtid=1757688&u2=http://www.sprint.com/boeing instead of just http://www.sprint.com/boeing. Does the beginning part of the url (http://slickdeals.net/?sdtid=1757688&u2=) allow sprint to trace the connection to SD? If so, can we stop that? They just might monitor this site to see what we do and shut down all of our deals.
Thank you.

Need some help here guys.I would love to get my hands on the 20/24 discount plus corporate discounts.I'm on a account that has 2 phones, each with a separate SERO F&F 500.I order the moment and I received it today and I know that the discounts wont work on employee referral accounts so I don't mind switching my account t to a regular account if I can get the mention discounts. My question is I just got the Samsung Moment today and I'm ready to try to do this.My question is should I go thru echat or call them?
Which is the best approach and how to do it if anyone could recommend a way.Thx!
Is is possible to get the 20/24 for each line if I go from SERO to a regular account or will I have to with a family plan?Sorry for all the questions guys but just a little confused, thx again!

yes i did get 20/24 on BOTH lines. in my experience, echat was unsuccessful in both attempts at the 70 credit and the 20/24. they insisted i called. you will almost likely have to go through retentions to get the 20/24. keep in mind though, if you have older sero 500 @ $30 and chose to drop, the next comprable plan is the everything+ at 69.99, subtract FIRST the corp discount then the 20/24 discount and you end up payn more then $30 (however youdo get unlimited navigation and tv) so consider that, and..........dont give up; its a big ymmv as far as ive seen with getting these discounts, so be persistent! if one csr says no, call back

hmmm, noticing my selected corp discount site now requires real email addy, but the other day when i talked to retentions i was able to recieve that discount without being asked for any email and i got the confirmation email stating that i was confirmed. the change doesnt take efect for up to 60 days though, so i hope at that point i can order my phone? hope nothing changes, as of right now cant get on that site without work email

my friend you must not be reading the wiki information on my alternate thread. i list in detail how to land the deal. you have to agree to relinquish sero. this will not work whatsoever with a sero account.

for everyone having issues reaching retentions, call the customer care number and the automated phone service will say, "press '2' if you want to cancel your service". i believe it is 2. any case you want to choose the option for cancellation. this will send you to retention. when you initially get a human on the phone ask if this is retention. if they say that it is not, then ask to be directed to retention.

You're saying the plan discount won't work with SERO or the phone discount or both? I know I can't get 25% off my SERO plan, just want the phone for $50 and keep my SERO. I figure if they cancel the order, I'll try and say I'm changing the plan at a sprint store so I can see all my options or some BS like that, maybe they'll ship if they think I'm changing to a new plan. Probably won't work, but it's worth a try...
I don't want to change my plan, besides if I have to change to get a better phone, I would probably get a Moment over the TP2, only reason for the TP2 now is it seems to be the best phone for SERO.

none of this stuff will work with Sero. none of it whatsoever. if you want to keep sero, you will have to pay full price for a tp2. this information is posted everywhere and i am unsure how to make it more plain. :rtfm:
i have posted it in wiki's, placed in the the title of the threads, mentioned it an extreme number of times in postings,.... i can't make it more clear.
IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR SERO LINE, NONE OF THESE DEALS WILL WORK FOR YOU.
not a phone upgrade, not a discount, not in a boat, not in a moat, not in a car, not near or far, not in a house nor with a mouse.

Hmmm, this is what was posted in your other thread...
HTC Touch Pro 2 $49 (poss $24) HERO, PIXI & MOMENT for $29 shipped *NO SERO* after new line activation w/ 25-27% corporate discounts
THIS WILL NOT....I repeat....THIS WILL NOT work for people with SERO trying to upgrade their SERO plan with a Business Discount Plan
This may be why I was asking for clarification as to whether this would work for just the phone purchase without getting the discounted plan.
I'm assuming from your last post that it may not work... :D Thanks for the clarification.

Can you change your existing corporate discount? I currently take advantage of my employers 20% discount but would be awesome to get 27%. Not sure if my situation makes a difference. I am currently on a family plan but cancelling one line (no ETF due to fee increase) and switching the other to the ED plan. I am waiting for a returned phone credit before doing so. If i can switch corporate discounts, when would be the best time to do it - before or after switching plans? Also, can i take advantage of a phone deal (daughter wants palm pre) on any of the corporate discount sites?

the easiest i've seen for setting up multiple phone (more than 2) in one swoop without issues is the citigroup link. the best phone prices though will be accenture and intel. so it depends on what phones you are looking to purchase.
citi - 27% discount
accenture - 25% discount
intel - 25% discount

Those are the few cheap (or free) phones on the JPMorganChase link. Which one (hypothetically if I was going to get one) should I get? If I were to get this, it would be the Unlimited Data plan.

hey OP- thanks again for your help!
Went to the store yesterday to pick out a phone, and got them online! Two BB Curve 8530's (purple for me, black for her) Everything Data plan with JP's 27%, and added the 10% Credit Union discount this afternoon! Save50, ebill, and a current customer referral on top makes it 85 per month, with a 50$ discount the first month, and an 80$ discount the second! :)

Thank you! I used the JP Morgan Discount over the phone along with relinquishing my Sero 1250 plan to get the Family Unlimited plan for 2 lines at 84 bucks. I just gotta go to the store and activate the 2nd line and get some free phones.
you should try echat and use the code "SAVE50" to save $50 for every new line. if they try to deny you, just say something like why do you still advertise it? I have the SERO and just recently added a SERO line for my brother. It worked like a charm! Norman K. helped me and it took less than 5 mins.

I've been reading about applying this corporate discount and I have a couple of questions. My wife and I currently have the Sero $30 plans and our contracts run up in a few months. The problem is, we have separate contracts. I was wondering what the best way to upgrade to a Everything Data family plan with the Accenture discount was? Should I do a ToL on her line to my account and then call up sprint and get the plans changed to a family plan?
Does anyone else have any experience with this? Thanks!!

Im a little confused; ive read the first page - i have just switched my sero to everything 450 and that takes effect feb 12th. I can get a 75 dollar upgrade now, but im told if i wait 3mths i can get the 150.
So, i presume feb 12th, i can then go over to one of the links, select a palm pre, and then then use existing plan, pay my money and get the phone? does that auto apply the 25-27% discount? or am i selecting swap plans to get the discount?
Does any of this effect my 20/24 discount im about to get? sorry for all the q's

im kinda in the same situation, i have two seros both fullfilled thanks to the other thread. im goin to switch to ed450 on the main line and get the 20/24 and tell themt o give me the phone upgrade, then ill hit up the intel portal and upgrade the phone. If you upgrade the phone will it automatically give u the 25% corp discount on the plan also? also have people been getting the corp dis recently?

i have an expired sero plan and am looking to renew. I really don't like the options for phones available for SERO so I am trying to figure out how to switch to the Everything PLus with the 20/24 credit, and a new phone. To get the credit, it kind of sounds like I have to renew first, a problem because then i would not be allowed a free/discounted phone. Can I switch plans, get the credit, and renew at the same time(so I can get a phone that would be incompatible with my current SERO plan)?
I have called retentions and specifically asked for the $20/Mo credit and they said I could not have it because "that plan is already so discounted". How do I work with them better?

i thought i had posted a msg but can't find it anymore..
i wanted to find out if i could use one of those corporate links to upgrade my phone even though i already have a corporate discount. is this an option?
I'm also wondering the same thing. I just ordered the Hero (phone upgrade) via the intel link. I currently get a discount through my company but intel is a little better with 25%. So for anyone that has already done this can you tell me what will happen while I wait ~2 months for my new 25% discount start? Will my current discount get dropped at some point or will there be a seamless cut over to the new discount?
Thanks in advance.

Quick question. Has anyone been successful adding the corporate discount to your plan by going through the portal site and filling out the wireless discount request? I see that it is available on Intel's site and thought that might be the easiest way to get the discount added. Thoughts?

none of this stuff will work with Sero. none of it whatsoever. if you want to keep sero, you will have to pay full price for a tp2. this information is posted everywhere and i am unsure how to make it more plain. :rtfm:
i have posted it in wiki's, placed in the the title of the threads, mentioned it an extreme number of times in postings,.... i can't make it more clear.
IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR SERO LINE, NONE OF THESE DEALS WILL WORK FOR YOU.
not a phone upgrade, not a discount, not in a boat, not in a moat, not in a car, not near or far, not in a house nor with a mouse.
So...are you saying if I currently have SERO...I cannot get this deal at all....right??

yes, if you are currently not receiving the corporate discount then echat and tell them to apply the hierarchy code of your choice. then ask them to add 2 lines. go to the portal and upgrade those lines with your phone of choice.

just create one with the @intel.com as your domain name my friend. it will work because they are only verifying the domain name. see their policy pasted below
Please list your corporate email address to confirm you are eligible for the employee discount offered by Sprint. This email address is simply used to verify employment and will not be used for communications or messages of any kind. See additional details of Privacy Policy.
I have the Sprint everything plan with no corp discount I currently have 3 phones on my account and it is a spending limit account would I be able to take advantage of these discounts and would I be able to add another line to my current account or would I have to start a new line of service

Just a question for some of you that are with Sprint:
What is your monthly plan rate?
AND
What is your total bill?
I want to switch to a good data plan badly but my real options are Verizon and Sprint. I had Verizon InPulse for a while, and the coverage was awesome but the phone wasn't that cool. Now, I'm on Page Plus but can't use data on my phone because I'm way too lazy :P.
I just don't want to pay $53 a month for the Everything Data 450 plan (after discounts) and end up with a $70 a month bill- Boost Mobile's $50 a month plan would be a better choice for me then.

I have tried to use the accenture discount and placed an order they stated I had an account but I never did and they want me to call sprint
here is a copy of the email;
Thank you for your recent Sprint order. As a part of processing your order, Sprint has returned a match on your Social Security Number to a previously held Sprint account.
Due to the status of a previously held Sprint account, will not be able to process your order at this time. If you have further questions regarding the status of your previously held account, you may call Sprint customer service at 888-717-8202 or visit your nearest Sprint retail store.
Can anyone tell me what I should do?
We currently have a 22% discount, my silly question is that we have forgotten with which company. The statement says "Employee Discount Sprint 22%". We have never worked for Sprint, am I missing something how do I check?

Figured it out by process of elimination. I wanted to check phone prices on our "legit" portal and it could have been one of 4 or 5 companies (no good prices). Guess not so legit now since my wife no longer works there. So changing to a 27% may be my next target, and I still have one line that would like a TP2 and I seriously doubt I could get another price match deal with sprint like before.

So, I just noticed that a lot of the links in the wiki now require that you provide a work address.
If my aunt/uncle were going to do this (they're USPS employees) but don't have an email, do you really think they are going to call a 1888 number?
Sprint annoys me. They've killed off the good deals, and now have very few phones that don't require a MIR to get them cheap.

Here's a quick question. I get the phones at 52 bucks a month with 450 minutes, and the data package, but no text. Sprint changes their contract and I get to opt out without an ETF.
Can I then activate the 2 pre's with Boost? Sure I'm only saving 5 bucks a month, but we then get unlimited everything, text, talk, data.
Thoughts?

Nevermind, the everything data does come with unlimited text. So it's basically 5 bucks more than I would pay Boost Mobile per month, but the phones come free after rebate, so that works.

I think it's the first 3 numbers of the phone after the area code.
In my city landlines are given certain prefixes, whereas cell phones are given different prefixes.
So if you wanted your number to be (555) 655-xxxx, you'd put in
Preferred Area Code: 555
Preferred Prefix: 655

Thanks for your request for the addition of the Intel discount to your Sprint account.
Sprint has advised that you are currently on an SERO plan. Unfortunately, you are not able to receive both discounts. If you would like to change to the Intel discount off your monthly recurring charges, you will need to contact Sprint to change your plan to a regular priced plan.
Once the plan has been changed, you will then need to contact the Sprint Discount Dept at 866-853-4931 to have the discount applied.

I have diligently read the wiki. I have also gone through this thread numerous times. What a wonderful resource! I want to make the jump from my SERO account to ED 450 and get a HERO. My sprint contract is up this month. :shake:
So from reading the Wiki in order to get the best deal for monthly service, and be able to use a HERO I will
1. Upgrade my SERO to ED 450 request $10/24
2. Request 2 year loyalty discount 10% off each month
3. Use portal for sweet 25% off each month. Or use the provided hierarchy codes.
4.This is the part where I am a bit confused. How do I get the sweet deal on the HERO?
After all the discounts and upgrading I will still be on a month to month contract correct?
So do I just upgrade my phone with my $150.00 upgrade credit? Or is there a deal that is more Slick? Am I doing this in the correct order?
Btw
I tried to go through the intel site and they asked for a work email..which I expected.
I used boblablaw@intel.com (I dont work for intel) and I got a pop up that said SUPER!! we are sending info on what to do next to your intel.com mailbox..So is there a work around for this wall? Should I just try a different portal? Which do you recommend?
Might this all be more easy if I cancel my Sprint account? Then start fresh with Sprint, and just go through a corp portal?
Thank you for your time.

OK, I'm an existing Sprint customer. I did echat and gave them a heirarchy code (Citi). Rep said she completed the form and submitted it. She said it could take 1 to 2 billing cycles for it to go through.
Never asked for email addy or anything else. The email addy on my account is an AOL account.
Does this mean I'm all set, or are they going to want another email addy at some point? I just found the other Wiki, and it said they've started verifying Citi (that's the heirarchy code I used because my wife used to work there).

this has been covered numerous times. you should diligently read the wiki on my other post (http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1742804). sero and corp discount cannot exist together. you will have to give up one in order to enjoy the benefit of the other. people are relinquishing their sero accounts for fantastic credits while enjoying very nice corp discounts coupled with fantastic phone pricing.
i encourage you to check out the other thread
my firend if i give up one sero line switch to eventing data and request for 20/24

the problem you will face is that the corporate discount is an account type change. so that means that all lines existing under the account will be affected. sero lines cannot exist under a corporate discount account. so all of your sero lines will be affected. either you have to create a 2nd account as your corporate discount account and move your line under that account if you plan to maintain your additional sero lines under the employee referral account type. or you can change all of your sero lines to everything data and then change the account type to corporate discount.

This is my first post, so go easy on me guys.
Just ordered the new Hero today. Two of them, actually. After rebates and discounts and credits applied to my account, all I paid was tax. My question is, on the Intel form, can I put in a personal email without is causing a problem? I see that all it asks for is the account name, number, mobile number, etc, but I am concerned about the email address. If I put in my yahoo email, is it going to create an issue? I need the discount but am afraid of getting my account audited (new customer as of today).
Also, can I combine that discount with a credit union discount? Thanks for your help!!

Any Help Appreaciated:
I just want to upgrade phone to Hero. I already have 25% off and have a line that have full phone upgrade rights. If I go through the accenture the hero is Free.
How does it work.. do I get the phone in the mail and need to go activate it at a store? And my line is automatically renewed for 2 year contract? Will it try to now assign my account to accenture even if I already have the employee discount?
Any details on the process will be helpful THANKS!

Clear your cookies in your browser go through the intel link. Click on PDA's pick your phone t then it will take you to plans click on family plan whatever you want then blammo it asks for info do not get psyched out by the intel work email thingy. When you are checking out it will ask you for your intel work email...
I think you just put in firstandlastname@intel.com or your regular email address. Apparently they do not check so no stress. ;)

Ok, I did a chat with ecare to apply the 25% discount. The next day I got the email below asking me to renew my contract to get the discount. Is this normal? My current contract doesn't end until September. Am I giving up my phone rebates by signing this?
YOUR CONSENT IS REQUIRED
In order to process your 25% employee discount request, Sprint needs
your permission to renew the Service Agreement for each phone and data
device associated with your account. Follow the steps below within 45
days and I will update your account.
To consent to a new two-year term and agree to Sprint terms and
conditions (see below), follow these steps:
1. Reply to this email
2. Type: “I AGREE” or “I DISAGREE”
3. Press send; We will send you written confirmation within 14 days.

Thanks for the reply. It is quite odd that you needed to renew your contract to get the code, but maybe that is how they are doing things now. I guess this is Sprint's way of keeping customers. Looks like I'll need to call and change over to ED450 and get my discount applied since I was on SERO and couldn't apply any discounts. Hopefully I'll get the $10/24 for upgrading to a more expensive plan.

So I called Sprint after getting my Evo to try to add the corporate discount. I gave the Chase code listed here (NAUJPM_ZZZ) but he said he couldn't find a discount under that code. He did go through and find the JP Morgan Chase discount, though and said he added it. He asked for an email but said it did not have to be a Chase email. He stated that I would receive confirmation in my email, but nothing came. Online account management doesn't show a discount. Is there any way to confirm that he added it?

It took me 24 hours the first time I tried, then 48 hours the second time I tried, to receive the confirmation, I was denied both times but that's another story altogether. Just be patient and see if you receive the email. You won't be able to tell on sprint.com, only on your paper/electronic statements. Plus it usually takes up to 2 billing cycles for it to be applied. Just make sure you keep a record of whom you spoke/chatted with so if it isn't applied you have some ammo when you talk to retentions.

After a couple attempts at not getting through to echat, I was finally able to get through today and they said that they would apply the discount. However, a corporate discount mandates a 2 year agreement though (even out of contract), so i held off for the moment. How did you do that??? I tried talking to at least two or three reps and an echat person and they all told me that SERO plans were already discounted and that $70 credit constituted another discount and they could not apply it. I'll try your email and see if that works.

Try email. I clicked on the "Contact Us" link from my account page after hours, and it gave me an email form. I wrote talking about how I heard I could receive $70 for extending my contract; they confirmed as such, and I got it applied. Took about 3 emails over the course of a few days, but it was painless.
After my discount was applied, my $150 equipment service credit still showed up on my account, and I was able to order a new phone online without changing plans. (using the EPRP website)
