can someone tell me how to do this without typing the whole thing out. for example, when people say "click here" and when you do, your directed to a link. thanks.

Then come back to the post you want to insert the link, click on the InsertLink icon (the one showing a 2-link chain) and paste the URL from the clipboard.
Hope this helps (easier to do than to describe).

i guess i didn't get it right.Sometimes you have to use attachment(s) instead.
There's a Manage Attachments button toward the bottom.
