Thanks OP. I often just google "papajohns coupons" and find a bunch of sites with a list of codes to try, but this forum is much easier to ignore the ones that don't work. And goodness, people, if you are an anti-pizza nazi, why are you even reading a thread about pizza coupons???

For those with a Papa John's nearby, you might want to check for signs in the window. The one near me had a sign for "carry out only" $7.99 Large 1 topping. Better deal than the $10 UNLESS you must have 4 toppings.

I just picked up a BOGO Large for $11.49 yesterday with a postcard they sent me.

Every Saturdays and Sundays, $11 old school NY pies or $1.5 per slice. I think this beats any PapaBlows, PizzaPuke, etc. any day. Not the best pizza had but for the price, probably is.

I can't eat those hamburgerized pizzas anymore. These chain places really took toppings out of whack while forgetting the basics of good pizza making.

This is the only joint left from what I remember of pizza places from 30 years ago in this area. All gone now.

no one counts sodium anymore? calories only go so far...I'm asian it's hard for me to eat the "American" 2400 calories a day, let alone eat 1400...sodium and other contents are far more devastating than just calories, anyhow...can't go wrong with a thin wheat crust with light cheese and vegetable toppings :)

What's with all the complaining? At worst this is a net neutral - you didn't eat pizza before and you still don't eat it. Otherwise, it's a way to save some money for the people who do eat pizza.

Not that I do. That stuff is full of sodium and calories and poison death gas.

Thanks, OP!

Don't even sweat it. Haters always want to hate.
I'm a full time lab tech on the midnights, and a full time masters student on the days. Over the summer I lost 15-20 pounds due to my schedule and not eating right. I spend two days a week running for 22-23 hours and don't always have time to make food. I'll usually make a GIANT pot of rice w/veggies or pasta on Monday and let that carry me through the week, but it usually runs out by the weekend when I'm out of class and working on my house and research.

You were hoping to help somebody, right? Hi, I'm Dan. Thanks.

I actually kind of like bran muffins more than pizza...
But muffins are small and never fill me up, cheap pizza is endless and filling.
Also, $5.99 will either get me a full pizza that I can eat slowly over a day or two, or maybe 2-3 muffins that will make one meal and a snack.

Poison death gas
Is an art, like everything else.
I do it exceptionally well.

Somewhere, Sylvia Plath is rolling in her grave at the fact that I turned "Lady Lazarus" into a fart joke.

But seriously, some of us have crazy metabolisms, don't always feel like cooking, and can process the garbage that is pizza without too much trouble. So thank you kindly, OP. :)

Why in this kind of thread, there is always someone complaining about how junk the food is, and how healthy we should eat. Come on, it's not like we eat pizza everyday. It's not like we get this kind of good deal everyday either. I aways wanted to try a pizza with everything extra on top. So thanks for OP, just ordered 2 large pizza hut pan pizza, super supereme with extra everything on top for 20 bucks.. That is so bad, lots of poison.

I read this thread just because I knew there would be so many haters on here. Everyone is missing the point. Yes, there are "bad" things in Pizza but the OP was feeding a football team that probably just burned off 2000 calories each during practice. The point being, if you are going to complain and hate on junk food you are way off base. Complain about the lack of exercise you get.

Rant over. Thanks Op. I'm going to pick up a pizza after work, after my daughter and I go on a bike ride of course. :)

We all understand that pizza is not healthy. The only thing your doing is looking like high brow snobs with your negative comments.

Actually pizza is much healthier than anything else in the fast food category.

BTW, I love the new Domino's commercial.

Damn I get so tired of all the threadcrappers about how unhealthy certain foods are. Sure it's unhealthy if you plan on eating it all the time. I go to the gym 5 days a week and I am active on the weekends. I eat healthy most of the time but I do enjoy eating pizza at least twice a month. If I ate it everyday, I would expect to be a fat ass and have my arteries clogged but I would accept it because know fatty foods aren't something you should be eating everyday.

Anyway, thanks for coupons. I might actually try Pizza Hut tonight since I haven't had it in years. I did have the "new" Dominos recently and I could tell they made changes to their pizza but they still haven't won me over.

I just went to the Pizza Hut website and stacked their $10 for any pizza deal with a 20% coupon for first-time web orders. I don't know the code, but it was listed in their coupons section which was easy enough to find.

Got 10 large pizzas for a birthday party, loaded with toppings, for $80. Not bad!

Thisguy68
01-22-2010, 01:10 PM
you mean like a salad or a seasoned chicken breast?

Are you saying that salad is healthier than pizza? Do you know what dressing is?

What the hell is the problem with pizza anyway? Cheese is bad for you? Tomato sauce is bad for you? Bread(crust) is bad for you? Now I'm sure that you people that think you're more healthy are dying to inform me that cheese is fattening, the crust is full of gluten and lacks fiber, and the tomato sauce is full of high fructose corn syrup and sodium. Cheese has been around thousands of years and obviously doesn't kill you and if full of protein. White ( glutenous, fiberless) flour is also easily digested now by our bodies. Not to say that it is quickly digested, but that added benefit makes us feel full. Tomatoes contain all sorts of good for you amino acids and taste great. good deals
green for you op, not to TC

But, feeding your kids pizza is definitely not life saver for them!

Cook them something healthy. Its easy to cook thai, and make sure they get some healthy food and veggies

:)

Guess what? We had chicken pad thai with carrots/cabbage/pea pods/sprouts etc last night, like we do a couple times a month. You're right - it's not hard to make, which is why I do it. However, my kid tried it for the first time and ended up red and swollen and in pain.

She can eat veggies off of pizza no problem though. So guess which one is "healthier" for her? And then get off your high horse.

Thanks, OP.

I'm not sure if this helps but the Pizza Hut coupons can be applied to each pizza you order.

Example:

Use code HC 4 times on 4 pizzas on same order equals $36 plus tax and delivery....

Not just on one pizza, apply the code to each pizza in the same order. HTH

Feeding a bunch of kids in a pinch for reasonable? Thanks OP!

EXACTLY! Why all of negativity? I may eat it myself...feed a bunch of kids...feed a group of adults..WHO CARES WHAT I DO WITH THE PIZZA. Obviously we're not morons and realize that it's not the healthiest food but if you're gonna buy it anyway it's awesome to have a coupon. I'm a true slickdealer. I search this thread before purchasing anything - from Mickey D's to furniture. I don't see vegetarians clogging burger deals. Give us a break. If you're not into the deal, why don't you just move right along???

Are you saying that salad is healthier than pizza? Do you know what dressing is?

What the hell is the problem with pizza anyway? Cheese is bad for you? Tomato sauce is bad for you? Bread(crust) is bad for you? Now I'm sure that you people that think you're more healthy are dying to inform me that cheese is fattening, the crust is full of gluten and lacks fiber, and the tomato sauce is full of high fructose corn syrup. And finally, all of you HFCS paranoid dumbass conspiracy nuts need to give it a rest. ow I'm gonna go eat a whole, delicious, fried Pizza Hut pan pizza because this is America damnit!! :yummy:

save your kid's health and cook something real for them!

Save them?

What's with the soccer mom paranoia that overcame this country in the past 2 decades?

My dad used to bring pizza home for me and my sister at least once a week and I have the fondest memories of those Friday and Saturday nights. Now I'm 32, I'm perfectly healthy and I'm a regular guy so what's the big deal? (I used to drink water from the faucet while playing with my friends outside too. I guess my days are numbered). I feel for the kids of a killjoy pro like yourself.

All gone now.

http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/ki63dOl30QXxB2cWdrXFvQ?select=o1cKNe2HqF-8K2sQhQrQew

Yes, we all have hometown pizza joints nearby which are so superior to these chain restaurants. But that wasn't the point of the thread. The chains are Nationwide, which is useful to the masses on slickdeals.

Apparently you missed the OP's YMMV disclaimer in the very first post.

Apparently you misunderstood my post. The mentioned code (EDO89) as seen in the OP seems to be a typo; it appears that the O should be a 0 in order for the code to work. I tried both and reported my findings so that others who may be experiencing the same problem might be able to get the deal. Whether I “missed the OP's YMMV disclaimer” is irrelevant. Even if I had simply been reporting that the code did not work in my area without offering the solution that I did, my post still may have stopped people from wasting the time to use that particular code. Although, I'm not sure what you think you accomplished with your post...

not sure if it was earlier mentioned and hope it fits the thread - if you go to Papa John's and click on "partner offers" then "want a free pizza" you can get a $10 Papa John's gift code for trying one of those Trialpay offers...most of them cost something but if you see GameHouse Funpass its free, just throw them a disposable paypal virtual CC and/or cancel within the 7 days...TP sends you the $10 GC in about 24 hours, sometimes instant....there are other free ones on there sometimes like Real SuperPass and sometimes a free survey signup like Zoom Panel or a free Yahoo Personals 7-day trial...i've rec'd 3 of those $10 PJ gc's for free offers now in about 4 months, along with the free one i got from the "Big Bundle" deal...hope that fits with the thread...

I actually kind of like bran muffins more than pizza...
But muffins are small and never fill me up, cheap pizza is endless and filling.
Also, $5.99 will either get me a full pizza that I can eat slowly over a day or two, or maybe 2-3 muffins that will make one meal and a snack.

the last Bran Muffins I got had 22 or 24g fat each!

Earlier today I posted on the wiki that the code M24L worked in Westminster, MD. Well, I THOUGHT it did. I first tried Hampstead, MD and it would not take the code and said this store was "not" participating or some such statement. I then tried Westminster and it took the code. I placed the order from work, paid w/my credit card and scheduled pick-up for 8:30. This was done around 5:30 (I have a VERY long commute). We got to Dominos around 8:10 and hubby went in. The manager then asked for the coupon. Hubby of course came out to the car and I told him i didn't have a coupon but if the guy refused to take the discount, to tell him to give us our money back. Well, the guy kept repeating that he needed the coupon and hubby said to forget it. Come to find out--they hadn't even MADE the pizza yet. BTW - the total for two large w/one topping was $14.30 (good price but still over $7 a piece -- so it's not like we were getting this for close to nothing) and considering that two mediums are 5.99 each. We got the credit card credited and then proceeded right to Pizza Hut (are go-to place) and ordered two of the large all-the-toppings you want (total $21). All in all, it cost us a little more but we got more toppings than we would have. As for that particular Dominos -- it was my FIRST and LAST time going there. I HATE Dominos but wanted to try the new pizza and if I liked it, we would have been regulars. So in the end, they lost my business. I updated the wiki to say that this location does NOT take the code.

Papa Johns has some good deals right on their website. $10 for a large -- up to 7 toppings or specialty pizza. $12 for an XL with up to 4 toppings.

For those of you who care, the large is 14" and the XL is 16", so the XL is ~30% bigger (49pi vs. 64pi).

Besides the unit cost aspect, the Papa Johns near me gives a free 3-pack of It's It Ice Cream with every XL pizza purchase (a $3.99 retail value), so I usually get the XL and have enough pizza leftover to last a week.

We're fortunate to have Luigi's authentic Italian pizzerias here. Their pizza is the best I've ever had outside of NYC/Manhattan, and blows away anything and everything from the national chains.

Now, if I had one or more hungry teenagers living in my house, I'd definitely take advantage of deals like this. When I was in my late teens, I could demolish an entire large pizza for lunch and still be hungry in the evening. Anyone with kids that hungry needs discount codes like this for those occasions when everyone wants pizza.

pc800

Large 1-topping pizza and a 2-litre of a Coke product for $8.00, tax already included.

It shows up in the cart as about $7.42, then below has .58 as tax, depending on your rate.

Pick up or delivered. Pretty sweet deal considering they charge nearly $3 for a 2-litre alone.

Works for sure in Las Vegas, assume it will other places.

btw if you use the B1G1 with domino's you can buy the veggie feast pizza and substitute toppings for whatever you want... so pretty much you get two 10+ topping pizzas for the cost of one veggie feast which was $17 here.

I don't know if someone has mentioned this but coupon code 5008 gives a large 1 topping pizza for $5.99 + tax for me. However, what I do is usually select chicken as the topping on one half and bacon on the other. You can obviously choose any toppings that you want.

$6.54 in all for a "2 topping" large pizza seems a decent deal for me. YMMV

the site retailmenot.com (http://www.retailmenot.com) is wonderful at tracking coupons for papajohns, dominos, and pizza hut. You'll find a wider selection of coupon codes, success rate information, etc...

Just in case some don't realize, most online codes are region / zip specific. So don't be surprised if basically EVERY code is YMMV, only real exception will be national ads.

Not sure if mentioned on previous pages but both Pizza Hut has ANY SIZE ANY TOPPINGS for $10 and Papa John's has LARGE ANY TOPPINGS (INCLUDING Specialties) for $10. Picked up a large "The Works" from PJ's last week for $10 (normally $17.49 ).

I've been using the HM coupon code ($10 large pizza with more than three toppings) for months, but I can't get it to work anymore. Has it stopped working for anyone else?

I can't post any deals b/c there are never any good deals (codes) here in lame ass Iowa.

These joints shouldn't make you jump through hoops to get a deal. They'll have some deal for 2 seconds and then pull it. The deal should just be the price. Always. I'm not talking about when people beat the system and get a steal...just a good deal.

Subway used to jack around with the price all the time, offering then pulling deals. They finally got the message and stayed with the $5, which I'm sure has helped business.
