When i click on "Quick Edit" it pops up with the new window and text but then dissapears very quickly without me doing anything. When i click on it a second time, it opens the new window again but then shoots me up to the top of the original page...i scroll down to the bottom and at least the quick edit window is still open...

whats the deal? (this happens on numerous computers, so im pretty sure its not a local problem)

So are you saying Slickdeals is designed to work on Mozilla properly and not IE? Or that M$ is crap?

Slickdeals is designed to work in all browsers dating back as far as Navigator 3. So, yes, I am saying that Microsoft Internet Explorer, in general, is a piece of crap.

Another solution (http://www.opera.com/download/). It works perfectly in Opera.

While I agree that Opera is a good solution:

FireFox == free ;)

Opera == broader compatibility (http://www.opera.com/download/?custom=yes) ;)

But Firebeast is quite good as well. And head and shoulders above IE.

Yes, I did some quick research before posting, because I knew Firey's OS support was rather good. Just not quite as good ;)

But is Firefox available in 2 types of Norwegian (http://www.opera.com/download/languagefiles/)? :)

And yes, I know it's third party language packs give it about as many languages as Opera. But only one form of Norwegian.

I find that firefox hates slickdeals links. I always have to copy the link location then remove the slickdeals.net/?random2043i5=
and just leave the url for it to work, otherwise firefox won't load it. IE does though.

hmm... I've -never- have a problem with FireFox and -any- slickdeals link, and I use BOTH quite extensively...
