Hi there. In order to change your current avatar you must have more than 10 post, which you already have anyways. Next you have to go to your USER CONTROL PANEL (USER CP) and then go to EDIT OPTIONS...if you scroll all the way to the bottom you will see the avatar fields where you can change it. The max size for a avatar is 66x66. Good luck..let me know if you need some help.

I'm looking for a new one too. I'll just go back to the avatar website where I swiped the one I have now, I guess.

hey lowpro or anyone else, I have an animated gif I wanted use as my avatar, I got it resized to 66x66 but i guess it has too many frames and exceeds the size limit. Any ideas on how to edit it to make it smaller or could anyone do it for me?

up load your gif, and go to optimization. reduce colors to about 32 or 16 and see if that gets it small enough.
