TWO Problems with Thread Subscriptions

I'm having two problems with my thread subscriptions:

(1) I'm not getting daily email updates for the ones I have marked to do so. I know it's not a problem with my email address on file because I still get emails every time someone sends me a PM.

(2) Sometimes threads magically disappear from my Subscriptions folder. I'm thinking it might be forum-specific(?) because I've only noticed it happen with my OD coupon thread (http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?t=165492) and my CC coupon thread (http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?t=163881). It's happened at least 4-5 with each of those threads.

I need your help here, Mods. I've sent a PM to Mr. SD on a couple occasions asking him about these problems, and he replies with something like "Which threads are you subscribed to?" I reply with my answer and then I never hear from him again, so I'm hoping you can help.

It's normal for the list of subbed threads to truncate. If they didn't, you would eventually have a huge list there. I think it only stores the most recent ones you have posted in.

As for not getting all notifications, that has been happening on and off to me since I first signed up here in 2003. Emails sometimes get lost or an error occurs where it is not sent out. I find new posts in threads on a weekly basis for which I have not received an email for. It's not perfect. But, it works most of the time.

Somehow I doubt that. I'm subscribed to a couple threads (one had the last post in March, the other had the last post in August) that have always remained in my Subscriptions. And I never have more than 20 subscriptions at any given time, so it's not like my list is getting too big. The only ones that disappear are (1) coupon threads (which receive several posts every day), and (2) threads that I started. Seems like too much of a coincidence...

I could understand not getting an email every now and then, but I have received ZERO email updates for at least 3 months, and I'm subscribed to 10+ threads.

About a month ago, I set it to SEND email notifications for a while. I found it annoying to have so many emails, so I set it again to NOT SEND emails. But it didn't turn off. I had to go back in and turn it on and off several times over about a 7 day period before finally my changes took effect.

I can't find any option like the one you describe. What is the option called exactly, and where did you find it?

One thing I just noticed... The "Instant Updates by Email" option works fine, but the daily updates never come. Any ideas mods????

Daily subscriptions will be fixed on the next forum upgrade.
