I have been using the same 11% off coupon code for Motel 6 for almost a year but just found a code that almost doubles the discount and can be used on top of their specials they send in their emails.

20% off Discount Code = CP545856

If you sign up for their newsletter you can also get free breakfast or free wifi ontop of the discount but it depends on the location and what they are offering.

Note: Some people had trouble finding where to put the code - you need to find the hotel and put it in the "Corporate Plus/ID Number" field

You should be aware that some motel6's get pissy about the 20% rate.. I went to one where the reservation in the digital system "disappeared" whether cause it had or their computer system was just messed up it's hard to say.. When I asked motel6 reservations to fix it.. manager had a field day acting a bit like a scarred and angry child..

Another one just said he "had no way to do it in the computer" and on insistence finally gave me the rate.. so just be prepared for some resistance at certain hotels.. is all I'm saying :)

And one didn't give me hassle at all.. so out of 3 uses of discount code only 1 didn't give me hassle in my local area :)

Thanks op going to give it a shot sometime, a lot of semi crappy hotels but they take pets no hassle at most, the red roof is owned by the same hotel groups and a step up, again accepts pets, any codes for them?

I went to one hotel the other day and they didn't give me the rate.. they gave me the senior rate instead cause they didn't know how to do it.. then after they charged me they figured it out and offered me a refund of $3.70 or so only after I pushed them about it..

Also watch out for hotels that claim "refreshed" I'm in a area where motel6 has a lot of hotels and I chose a cheaper hotel that said it had been "refreshed" well after looking at it.. it's not a very good job.. maybe it was refreshed a year ago and is in bad shape already.. this hotel was like $27 with the code $33 with taxes.. there were various $40+ hotels in various parts of the town I'm in.. I think it's sort of "you get what you pay for"..

One of the biggest bonus's to motel6 is this.. they cycle their computers at 5 or 6 a.m. and unless there's a problem.. you can check into any motel6 at 5 to 6 a.m for the day. almost every time.. that's a huge bonus in the number of hours you get if you stay out all night like I do :) or if your homeless as I am ;) and most *sshole hotels make you check at 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. even if they have rooms available (note the early check-in only works if rooms are available) ;) (for saturday or sunday morning check-ins this may be pushing it :P) I always call first that early in the morning :)

I honestly feel that most of their better hotels these days are not the drive up kind (after visiting at least 30+ for me) I like there inside hotels more.. some of these are moderately nice inside..

Yep, code is still working.. saved me $2 per day.. except one motel6 wripped me off for like $8-10 extra total for a 4 night stay.. have to call them.. somehow they had me pay more then I was supposed to :(

(most times) and while some of them are in bad condition/suck etc. some of them are just fine :)

I ran a coupon from "retailmenot" through motel6's site.. and I still got a $2 discount at the last motel6 I stayed at :D (it said 20-25%)

So point of fact their coupon/corporate code or this one so far.. is same thing :)
